ahhhh thanks girls but you won't believe this - the pa of my ps called yesterday lunch to say its cancelled as he is in court and its a case that has run over the time he thought???????? I was fuming - moaned a lot. Explained I had booked childcare, oh time off work etc etc and just got told how sorry they were????? Not as sorry as I am. I also said what about the fact that mentally I had geared myself up for this and how unfair it was. Next available date was the 25th or the 18th but I had to pay another £500 as it was at a london hospital?? Madness. I got oh to call and say I was in bits ( I wasn't THAT bad, but still.......) anyway she called today to say I can have it at the london hospital at no extra cost next Wednesday. Are these people stupid? Would you not have arranged something else so when you called to say it was cancelled you could say but we have arranged something else for you at no extra cost blah blah? Not very professional really. But anyway, next Wednesday it is. I am not impressed and trying to not fume too much.
Thanks for your nice wishes though girls and we will have a rain check for next week!!! I actually took a boob photo yesterday in preparation and WOW they look AWFUL in the cold light of 8mega pixels!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad I am getting them done...............

errr... that is unbelievable. Your surgeon was in COURT? If it was me I'd ask them for all my money back and go with someone else! I'd have done that with Mya if my implants had not arrived on time (you know what I mean if you read my story....)

this is shocking, i hope you are ok sweety, like the others have said what is your surgeon at court for? whos your surgeon and which company???? (sorry for all the questions but i cant remember everyones details lol)
i would push for discount surely they cant do this with only a days notice!!

I think his pa is just er.........stupid!!! I mean if it was serious would you admit to him being in court?? Actually he is just being a witness for someone but it wouldn't have been my first choice for a reason to say to a patient!!! Maybe I would just be a better liar and better at covering my butt!!! As I said perhaps not the brightest person!! But yes I am at least getting it done next week and I am just glad that oh works from home and has not had to take time off work etc and me too.
As you said though Nads you psyche yourself up and then get that!! SIGH............
I shall make them suffer in my own little way though!!

she does sound funny, like you said if it was something like malpractice im sure she wouldnt announce it, shows they're quite honest with patients i guess! Glad to hear you dont have to wait too long hun xxx

Yeah not long now - my Royce bras hadn't turned up in the post yet so it must be a sign!! I couldn't have gone without those bad boys!!! What a blow for you though.. I know how psyched up for it you get!!... but hey-ho, as you say, you haven't got too much longer to wait. Too bl**dy right they don't charge you extra either!

As a quick aside, I had the Royce post surgery bra, with the "popper" fastenings at the front... so very, very comfortable.. definitely my bra of choice... (at the moment! )
