Is this normal ladies???? My right implant is higher and harder...makes my nipple look lower too. I should mention that I have 360 cc saline under the the muscle. My PS say's its still early, however he put me on singular for one month..said it will soften tissue and help it to drop!!

[moved to breast aug]

Hi Melissa and welcome to the forum :wavey:

You don't say how far along post-op you are babe, but I'm guessing from you saying your surgeon says it's still early that you're very early days post-op?

It's not at all unusual to have one breast larger, or higher or harder babe - Try to think of each breast as a seperate operation and they they are healing at different rates, they'll catch up with each other soon enough, they just need some time to recover.

What is 'singular' hun?

Thanks! Thats encouraging!! Im 10 days post op. Singular is actually used for asthma patients and sometimes allergies...I know strange! My PS said it will also soften hard tissue...we'll see. I should mention my left one is BEAUTIFUL!!! I could look at it all day ;) Thanks again!

Mine were odd for a while hun, it is quite normal. I've seen you have asked James McDiarmid for his opinion which is what I would have suggested. I would try not to worry if it's very early days. As cookie has said they are 2 operations so one can take longer to heal than the other.

I went to Dr. Robert Sigal, Austin Westin Center for cosmetic surgery in Reston Virginia. Thanks Mistf1! My PS does say "they are sisters not twins" will continue to wait patiently :)

Hi Melissa,

I'm just over 1 month PO, and up until two and a half weeks, my rightie was pretty swollen and higher than my leftie, my leftie was also the beautiful one! Then, once I hit 17 days the swelling had almost gone and rightie settled quite nicely, at 3 weeks you could really see a change, they were much lower and softer.

There are many changes to come yet, it's very early days hun, like your surgeon says they are sisters not twins (love that comparison btw!) and they will eventually catch up with each other in their own time.

Happy healing x x

I was also put on Singulair for 45 days by my PS. To address your concern about them looking different, Im 4wks post and my left is higher and swollen. Its gotten ALOT better over the last few days. At first I was really depresed that the left was so different and bigger looking but the girls on here and my PS said its normal in the early stages and to give it time, which was so true!

I'm 2weeks post-op also, my left one is higher than my right one!
It is completely normal and nothing to be alarmed about, your boobies heal at different rates!
