Re: June Buddies!
Kayla, thank you so much for the site info "Breast Implant Info by Nicole". Very useful. Now I wonder even more. The results are so different. Guess I would have to find someone of exact same proportions to get a good idea?!. How are you feeling now? Being sick from med's at all? That is my big worry, being sick. Well I guess everything is a worry now. Only 9 days to go. Having unders & surgeon said no bra for 6 weeks. Has anyone had the same advice?
Thanks girls & good luck with yours

just back
Hi June buddies
Well got back from having my BA .Had op yesterday afternoon and not feeeling too bad at all.
No real pain at the moment but just stiffness and tightness especially through last night so i am expecting the same tonight.
Really struggling with bras though too they too uncomfy and feel like they are rubbing bigger size feels like it is not supporting.
Currently wearing a 36 e so i might get 38 dd see if that is better.
All in all really pleased with my new boobies and looking forwars to the settling already.

Re: June Buddies!
Hi June Buddies
I went out today first time since the op and dispite worrying that everyone was going to bump into my new assets made it home in one piece and i even got my nails done so not feeling too bad theres a little tightness under the boobs and my right side hurts more than the left one but on the whole i feel ok today i'm a little tired as still sitting up when sleeping but my OH has been a bit more supportive today finishing work early and picking the kids up from nursery and school.
So How is everyone feeling today?

The 15th
I have got arnica also been advised to start on it 3 days before, everyone keeps saying unders really hurt so scared, but gonna make sure i dont miss any painkillers and hopefully will be okay, my nurse told me at pre op that a lot of it is down to PMA so gonna try that (not sure about it though ha ha)
I dont smoke either but bit worried about blood clots due to my family history so need to be mobile straight afterwards

Re: June Buddies!
Yes definately i'd suggest extra pillows and i bought a v shaped one from argos thats been great the only thing really i'd suggest is try not to do too much but still walk about the house and keep the blood circulating i have done anything special really just slept sitting upright is meant to help lots and i know the first day after the op when i sat up they really hurt but its just morning boobs blood rushing from them it gets better. Good luck with ur op are u day case or staying over night? xx

awwhh Bumblelady I really feel for you that pain must be awfull, i am sure you will start to feel better soon day by day or hour by hour.Mine seem to be changing and the pain shifting all the time. At the moment I feel like my implants wanna burst out near my collar bones othe times its under my armpits although gotta admit its nothing that cant be controlled with pain relief.

Re: June Buddies!
I went back to sleeping on my back last night after my surgeon chastised me for sleeping on my back... mostly because of my ears than my boobs. I have to say I don't have much swelling, the little I do have is under my armpits, I hope I don't get stretchmarks here
The itchiness is mad though, its so itchy yet it hurts to itch grrrrr

Re: June Buddies!
Had my dressings off today and my disolvable stitches snipped. All pain free and felt great to get them off, even though I had tiny dressings on. I have bits of micropore on now and a spare roll to replace that with if and only if it falls off - no pulling or 'helping' it come off!!
I can't wait for my big kids to get back from school and look after my youngest for a bit so I can go for a shower!!
I also took a 34dd zip front sports bra back on the way home and tried on a 34E and 32F which were way too small. I tried on a 34G thinking that it would be too big ( the 32 band still won't go around me and they didn't have a 34FF in stock) and the 34G from M&S fitted!! Though prob not as tight as a sports bra should as I also tried on a 34E, F and FF normal underwire for literally 10 seconds each and the band was a bit loose but the F fitted really well.
I can't get over the fact that at this stage I have F cup boobs - they certainly don't look that big in clothes ( granted they look rather large in underwear!! But that's great, no-one will notice apart from me and hubby and that suits me just fine.
So all you pre-oppers, I would say if you want a DD then you need to prob get augmented to an e or F as mine look to me a DD. I told my surgeon a DD and possibly an E and think after fluffing I will be an FF and they are just perfect, a real dd would have been too small.
Sorry for the ramble, I am really excited. Having bobs is even BETTER than I imagined!!
Janeybird - as long as you keep ahead of the pain by taking your painkillers on time and making sure you have strong enough painkillers prescribed to you, I think total agony is quite rare with unders. You will know though when you try and do too much too soon!!
Bumblelady - the feeling of being unable to breathe deeply is pain related. I think you need stronger pain releif and then I think the feeling will go away. I got the exact feeling you describe after my caesareans but wasn't allowed stronger pain releif than co-codamol and diclofenac as I was breastfeeding. I would try tramadol if yu can get a Dr to write you a prescription for it even though it makes you drowsy, you will find the more well you feel the less drowsy it makes you i.e it knocked me out at 1 and 2 days post op but just makes me a bit woozy now, a whole bottle of wine initially or half a glass now!!
Gentle hugs to all of you xx
