Re: June Buddies!
zoe! I find myself on my side all the time in the morning! I checked with my surgeon today and he said its OK as long as its not painful and I should just listen to my body. I had ear surgery as well so not great for my ears but they don't look like they've been damaged by it.zoecal wrote:Has anyone else woke up on their sides , I did this morning hope its ok.

Re: June Buddies!
Not having a great day today tbh. Mum gone home now 200 miles away hubby at work loads of overtime and he is not very sympathetic in fact he didnt want me to get them done in the first place.
No breas are comfy at the mo so right now ive ditched them all, but dont know whether that is a good idea.
Thought I would be ok to drive with overs- obviously not.I suppose we all have our off days. Just keep thinking of them great boobies, great boobies

HI Bumblelady
Glad to hear your appointment went well , you sound like you are healing nicely.I cant wait to get dressing off now really itchy.Do you get a pulling sensation when you lift you arms like youve pulled a muscle because thats what ive got but only in my lefty, but then lefty is really bruised and righty has none.
As for sleeping on the side I feel like its moved them abit closer as they are abit apart. It just sort of happened, must of got fed up with my mountain of pillows.

Re: June Buddies!
I drove for a good distance on Weds, just a week po. and am bact to doing cooking etc. Hoovering and any cleaning are beyond my limits though!!
I have no pain when driving.Just real tightness and soreness in the scar and boob area all the rest of the time. I've purposey dropped nearly all the pain releif in the day so I don't feel able to do more than I'm ready for!! And it's worked as I am doing a lot less.
I am dosed up at night though, my lovely friend is a GP at my local Dr Prac and she prescribed some more Tramadol and Diclofenac today bless her!!
Bumblelady, glad to hear you are dressing free too xx

the nerves will all be worth it in the end,
you will wake up and look down and think waaaheyyyyy
i had to go though it all twice, my first one got cancelled at the last min before i went down because of infection, then had to wait another month to go though it all again,

Re: June Buddies!
zoecat on the Bras - I have been in a z-bra which was very comfy. But yesterday I got the Royce post surgery bras in a 34E and 32F (wanted the 34F but nowhere has it in stock!!) the 34E fits ok though as the fabric is soooo soft. The Asda bra was agony, that mesh ventilation bit feels like it's made from wire against my scars, I have put all of mine in a clothes recycling bin!!
My most comfortable bra is the Royce Bra. What bras have everyone else trialled? Which is your fave?

Re: June Buddies!
i brought the asda bra which i also thought were complete naff, they have little support, m&s one is good and 2 from lasenza are great,
i got stuck last night in bed, i tried to sleep in a few different possitions but becuase i have no strengh in my arms still i couldent get back up, had to keep waking hubby to help move me,
im taking kids out to a inflatable day today if weather stays nice, shame i cant join in with them yet,

Mine has to be the Total support bras from marks and spencers in soft cotton great support in a 36 DD, i started on the last link and i'm now on the tightest link. think i need a 34 DD but can't find any at marks in the same bra.
Bumblelady wrote zoe i cant even lift my arms up lol i can get them half way only, very frustrating still, have no strengh in them at all either just able to lift a cuppa,
Awwww Bumblelady sounds like your having a really tough time hope it starts to get easier soon.
I'm still feeling sore under my right boob and i can't wait to get the dressings off they are beginning to annoy me.
I'm totally obsessed with looking at them I keep taking my bra off to look at them at least 3times a day to make sure they ain't looking weird or anything.
Can't wait to wear a proper bra though these support bras ain't very flattering feel like an old granny in them lol
and i can't wait to go do some clothes shopping.
Hope your all feeling better today and good luck to the girls who have yet to get there boobies. xx

Re: June Buddies!
Your right kayla the Royce bra is the most comfortable of all my bras, but I have to return it for a smaller size so I'm in a Nike bra at the moment with isn't great for my scars so I'm going to go M&S today to try on some sports bras, I hear the zip one for £18 is really good. I'll have to manage that before my new Royce bra comes through

Re: June Buddies!
Was out last night to help me take my mind off the wait. A good friend of my husband though to have been so kind, said to me " I would not have done what you having" " would not let my wife to do that either" "you don't need it anyway, you look just fine as you are" and "all that money you are spending" it felt like a knife in the ribs. Would not bother me before, but I seem to be so sensitive at the mo.

OMG I soooo know the feeling someone said to me yesterday that I look great (which was nice) and that in his opinion i do not need a boob job aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh it just puts doubt in your mind, if in doubt check out a few 'enhanced' celebrities in gorgeous lingerie shots online you'll soon realise youre doing the right thing when you see how sexy they look with bigger boobs :)

Re: June Buddies!
M&S have changed the extra high impact bra with the sip front and cross back. They do hve a similar one though but it now costs £20!! Doean't seem to be made out of the same fabric though the new type is more lycra-y and less soft if that makes sense.
My boobs are sore today, must be nerves rejoining as the numbness is still there but has an over-riding feeling like someone has cleaned them with a scourer, making the skin v.sore!! And like you said Bumblelady, the bit in the middle hurts like mad!! Although if I remember to take my pain relief regularly the pain is minimal.
Janeybird and Ellie, I had a friend who when I told her ( I was drunk and hadn't even booked my ba!) I was considering ba she said ''you already have a great figure, what do you want to go and ruin yourself for just to get boobs like mine'' (she is a very confident size 18 with 40dd boobs which are huge!!) And then she followed quickly with '' you will be in and out of hosp and have to have repeat surgeries, you must be mad''. It took all of my might not to say, no I don't want boobs like YOURS!!
I haven't said anything else to her though, suprisingly enough!!
But just remember - you are doing this for you, not all the small minded people who feel they have the right to have and express an opinion. Just put your fingers in your ears and go ''la, la, la, la,la!!''
And then have a look over on the bravissimo website or Victorias Secret etc.
I wouldn't be saying all of the above if I thought you would for one second end up regretting having a ba. You will be delighted. And they will be jealous xx

Re: June Buddies!
I have been in a bit more discomfort today and it's the first day earing the Royce bra which did feel lovely but my Z bra had just come off the line and I thought I'd give it a try. My discomfort has TOTALLY GONE!!
I will be returning the Royce Bras I think for one more 34E z bra!! (Am tempted to order the 36E just to get the benefit of a bigger cup though!!) It really has made that much of a diff - I was about to dose myself up again but don't need to now and am having a glass of wine to celebrate (and for medicinal purposes!!0
My fave is now the good old Z-bra!!
