Deodrant on op day?
Hello
Just a quick one which i am sure someone will answer easily.
I am having my op on Thursday. I know i have to have my skin clear of any body lotion etc and that i can't have my nail varnish or slap on... but what about deodrant? Can I put any on in the morning? Am worried about getting to about four o clock on and being smelly as i do sweat when i'm scared!!!!

Re: Deodrant on op day?
No deodrant hun, I was told not to use any fragrances or moisturises or anything on my body. If you're feeling hot, there will be a bathroom there for you to keep freshening up if you need to whilst you wait hunni, maybe take a flannel that you can dampen to keep you cool and fresh. xxx
Re: Deodrant on op day?
I used my wipes hunni as no deodrant you will be ok though as cookie said you have your own bathroom to freshen up xxxxxxxxxxx

I too was told to put nothing on the skin, I washed myself with Hibi scrub (an antibacterial wash) day before and on the morning of my op.
2 days to go hun, how exciting!!! x x

Re: Deodrant on op day?
Girls, just ask if it's OK to use the deodrant wipes 'before' you have your surgery, we're told not to use any fragrances or deodrant and those wipes are both, so just check first, I used the wipes too but only 'after' my surgery. xx
