awww hunny you shouldn't feel guilty or selfish for wanting it. Afterall it's only money and having friends and family around are more important.

When I get round to booking mine, I know that I will be feeling the same way, because im the same, could use the money for so many other things, and I have children to think about too.
But this is a life changing experience that you've taken much thought and consideration over, and most definently researched!! If you put it off, you may just be left with regrets that you never did it, and as they say, you only get one life so make the best of it and live it to the fullest (ok im sounding corny now) but you have to look after yourself, do what makes YOU happy, and treat yourself now and again. I mean you never know, next year you might win th lottery or find out you have a very rich and ill distant relative with no family (long shot I know) but JUST GO FOR IT GIRL! We all have your back!!

Re: Pay full balance tomorrow, having serious doubts!
I've got some cash coming soon and thinking about spending it on a BA after i've told everyone i'm going to pay off some of my mortgage.
It maybe doesn't sound too important but I've been in my place 5 years and have got a high mortgage and am stuck unless i raise some cash. So although a BA seems like a good idea now it might not seem so good next year when i want to move.
BUT i'm young (ish!) I've lived with no boobs all my life and its time i spent some money on me!
Its all about what makes you happy, try not to stress about it too much!

I felt bad spending so much money on my ba but you have to look at the long term. If you want a ba now the likely hood is you will still want one next year or 5 years time. However if you are having serious doubts then it maybe best to wait 6months and see how you feel then. I'm not sure where you would stand with you diposite though. x

Re: Pay full balance tomorrow, having serious doubts!
Kirst and Macca I know exactly what you mean, and had the same doubts myself when I paid for my BA, after a messy break up I thought I'd need all my savings for a deposit on a new house, but circumstances changed and I'm now not moving, so had the savings to keep...I've always wanted a BA as I had the flattest chest! and I thought if I don spend the money on me now, it would be frittered away on 'stuff' and I'd always regret it. I'm now 6 weeks post BA and its the best choice I could have made....go for it lovely ladies and dont look back xxx

I think we've all been there! When I booked my ba I'd just given up work so not earning and I have 3 kids! The money could have been spent on so many other things but it really was money well spent - I am sooo much happier now I'm not constantly stressing ove hoe horrible I always looked!
Good luck,

Re: Pay full balance tomorrow, having serious doubts!
Hi hun, I think when it comes to paying the balance, you know it's really happening and nerves and loads of feelings start to kick in. You should never feel selfish for what you are doing hun, this is a little bit of happiness for you, you've as you said lived with unhappiness with your breasts since you were 17. Money isn't everything. But enjoying and makeing the best you can out of life is. You only live once.
Re: Pay full balance tomorrow, having serious doubts!
I think quite a few of us feel this way Kirsti, I know I went through all kinds of feelings of guilt and selfishness, but sometimes you just got to put yourself first, it's difficult allowing yourself to do that, but once you've had your BA, you won't look back babe - What you're buying is more than a pair of boobs, it's peace of mind, it's confidence and it's a much happier you!
You enjoy the new you sweetheart!

Hi Hun
I felt the same, the money was 'all' my husbands bonus and there were literally hundreds of other things we could use the money for....and we're in debt too.
But sometimes we have to do something for ourselves, we deserve it, we need it and no-one else will really understand but us, we need our

Re: Pay full balance tomorrow, having serious doubts!
Hi Kirsti, hope you are ok and congrats for paying the balance. I too took the option of paying the deposit then paying for the rest of it over 12 months interest free. I must say the year is nearly coming to an end for me and it really hasn't felt that long. The money is a big issue, BUT the benefits and improvements to my life since are far greater than any price. It sounds like your fiance is ok with you doing this, so try not to worry about it too much. x
