Re: what cant you do?
You won't really feel up to much in the first couple of days after surgery as the GA makes you feel very tired.
Showering depends on which surgeon you use and how well your incisions are healing - For myself after my first BA, I was allowed to shower after having my dressings removed a week after surgery, this time after having an uplift too, it was a lot longer due to my incisions being stubborn and refusing to close straight away.
Some surgeons use waterproof dressings though and allow their patients to shower from day 1!
Until your incisions are fully healed you can't fully submerge them so having a 'proper bath' isn't an option for a while - However, from as soon as you feel up to it, you can have shallow baths - You sit in the bath and sponge your upper body, avoiding boobies.
You'll be able to wash your hair over the bath after a couple of days yes, although in the first week, you may find you need help doing this.
I avoided clothing that needed to go over my head and stuck to button up and zip up tops for the first week, after that, I was OK to wear what I wanted. xxxx

That was really helpful Cookie - Made me remember the things you have to stick to once op out the way and how not to push yourself as the time does go quickly once you've had it done I found. xx
