how long after did you book op?
hey girls
just wondering how long after your finding your consultant did you book the op? Im seeing 2 more consultants this week (dr khan and dr grob) and hoping to book the op for about 2 weeks time if possible! Just wondering if this sounds like realistic timescale (no idea how booked up they get)?! I cant wait to just have them done and stop thinking about it now!

Re: how long after did you book op?
Hi hun, I waited about a month but could have had it done after 2 weeks. I know with Transform they give you discount if you take up a cancelation or late booking spot, bit like a holiday deal lol. So ask the companies about this before you tell them you want it asap.

I had a fair few consults with different companies and surgeons before going ahead. I booked in may and had my surgery in july. I dont think it matters to much as long as you are happy and comfortable with your ps. x

I had my first consultation with the only surgeon I've seen and booked my OP a couple weeks later... for September 2010! Waiting sucks :(

Re: how long after did you book op?
My surgeons all booked till June so depending on how popular surgeon is you'll have to wait. I don't think its likely you'l get a date in 2 weeks unless someone cancels... good luck with your consults x

I took a year to book the op then when I did had to wait 3 months because my surgeon was booked so far ahead - it was well worth the wait though xx

Re: how long after did you book op?
I had my first consultation last April I took a break from it for personal reasons and now I'm back and ready but it's going to take a while for me to get sorted because of finance.

Re: how long after did you book op?
I had my consult with Dr Khan on 9th April last year and had my surgery on 19th May so about 5-6 weeks.
I agree that you'll be lucky to get an op date within 2 weeks!

Re: how long after did you book op?
I had my second consultation and then had to wait 1 month and 4 days exactly until my special day! This was the next available date.

Re: how long after did you book op?
I've had two consultations and a third coming up next week but I've already booked/reserved my op for the beginning of May, just in case the third surgeon doesn't bring anything new. I can't wait. One month to go. YIpee!

Re: how long after did you book op?
Hi, like some of the other girls, I've had 3 consultations over the last 6 weeks and booked my op at the second one (the big day is 29th March so not long now!) I was really comfortable with my PS from day one so didn't bother seeing anyone else. Hope that helps! x
