I just made my rice boobies..

Hey girls, i just made my rice boobs, 300grams each and truth be told I dont think they are that big, although my mum thinks they are huge! Anyone else had this? Im having partials so surely they will look even smaller when they are actually in there!? I dont want to end up unhappy cause I wish id have gone bigger... HELP! lol

Hi NurseSophie, I know what you mean. I have had 2 sets of rice boobs - one 300g and the latest (the ones I think I will go with) 325g. I don't think either looked massive but when I showed my sis this weekend she said they looked huge! Maybe talk to your PS and depending on what they say experiment with some different sizes? The type of bra you are trying them with probably makes a difference too x

Yeh I had them in a sports bra so that probs squished them down lol!! I think I have boobie greed to be honest, and I've also become a total perv staring at boobs everywhere I go lol!! Xx

300g is a big difference - you will notice it ! And its totally normal to stare at boobies before your BA as its all you can think about. I was exactly the same !

The sports bras do tend to squash them down.Try wearing them out on a night out or a trip to the shops and see what you think then,that is what i did and it helps to see others reactions as well! x

Hi Nurse Sophie.... you are 4 days before me!!!!

I had a nightmare with rice boobs in a sports bra - didn't look right at all.

So in the end I put them in a very lightly padded underwired bra like the sort i would normally wear and wore them out and about for a week, trying different weights (from 300 - measured in a jug by the way not scales - to 420). I thought I just wanted big, big, big but the boobies made me realise how i would look if i was top heavy, and also that being short I kind of ended looking chubby with them too big!!

So anyway it was really useful....stick at it and keep experiemnting with diff amounts and bras, then when you go and get sized at least you will know the look you want.

My surgeon's assitant was very helpful in deciding my size with me...she let me try on loads of my clothes with different size implants in which was great fun lol :) and we have agreed they will have 360,390 and 430 in theatre and the surgeon will place the one that looks best. I am hoping for the 390!!

Yeh, i stuck my rice boobs in the sports bra and when down stairs, and my mum cackled at my 'ginormous nipples' also known as the double not i'd tied in my tights haha! Sexy!

I measured mine on scales... is that wrong? lol

Hmm im starting to wonder what to do now, think i might just stick with 300's, im scared of fluffing bigtime and ending up too big too lol!!

lol i didn't know what to do with the knot either ha ha...how ugly are rice boobs in tights!?!?!

I have been googling and am not much wiser but i think you are supposed to measure ina jug so it is more like 300ml = 300cc but ladies please correct me if i am wrong!!

I also learned that you lose about 15% in size if they going under rather than over...but again i don't know how true it is!! I'm going over.

Happy to have a boob day buddy, sounds like a plan!!

If you measure 300g it is actually quite a bit more than 300ml so they probably will be a bit smaller than what you've already made. I did 300ml and thought they looked massive although my PS has actually told me I can't go that big because of my BWD. Gosh, I've just seen you've only got 19 days to go, how exciting! If you are able to you should maybe consider going a little bit bigger, like 330cc x

Mine are in bloody black tights too so they look even worse, practically glow through my lush white sports bra!

I spoke with my PS about the benefits of overs rather than unders as i'd read overs give a better cleavage, something i find hard to achieve as i've quite a wide gap between my boobs atm. He said he does partials as it prevents rippling.. hmm i may talk 2 him about it again!

I now nominate you my boob day buddy, you will be one of the 1st people to know when im all 'boobalicious' as my friend has been calling it lol!! xxx

Eeeek! Ill have to go redo them and see what they actually are haha! Think I might have a wee chat to my PS on the day and see can he get a bit more in there¬

Oh my goodness, I stare at boobies all the time on the sly! I'm sure I get caught a few times too Its hard not to when you haven't got any of your own to stare at! lol

1cc=1ml (cc being the US unit and ml being the UK unit)

To calculate grams from cc or ml you need to know the density of what you'r calculating. for water 1 ml weights nearly 1 gram. But for rice 1 ml weights just over 1 gram. Thats why I used cous-cous as its lighter and more flexible matter so easier to mould in a bra

I want to get a 345cc implants so I measured 345grams of cous cous and put them in tights. They look huge! But the perfect size on me. HTH x

i think if your not happy with the size you must discuss this with your surgeon its so difficult to decide at times

I didnt make any rice boobies myself so cant be of to much help with that, however if you think the size recommened isnt big enough then I would talk to your ps. He or she will tell you why they chosse that size and then may consider going abit bigger. x

Im just worried i'll not be happy and wish id gone bigger, but then on the other hand im scared i'll end up too big! Nightmare lol but thanks 4 the advice girlies, think i'll have another chat with my ps just to be sure. xx

Definitely chat to your ps about it as u seem concerned and much as we can all chinwag on, they are the experts!!

I was allowed to try lots of diff implant sizes on with my surgeon's right hand woman Aggie who did my sizing... that really helped, maybe you will be able to do that? They better than the rice as they keep the right shape and don't slide into a huge risotto in the middle of your chest after an hour!!!

Hahaha at 'risotto!!' lol! I was going to wear my rice boobs out today but bottled it at the last min! Kept having visions of being like hansel & gretal, leaving a trail of breadcrumbs or in my case, rice behind me! Lol!

Hey soph wow 17 days !!!!!!! I didnt think much of the rice test I have since decided that if you get your ps to give you thress possible sizes and maybe go for the midway size or for him to decide what looks best on the day as you now I had 525cc to some that sounds massive but on me its really not so 1 persons 300cc wont be the same on you xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Ahhhh you do go through phases with size Im happy with my choice though and Im sure you will be we all get boob greed I was thinking that 525cc wasnt big enough and looking at girls with 650cc thinking that I 'd like them !!!!!! mad !!!!

Im ok had post op appt today so had my bandages off at last !!!! and I can lay on my side !!!! Ive been hating sleeping on my back with a passion !!!

I so need to get some pics on !!! started new job yesterday so have really been trying to cram so many bits and bobs I needed doing into one day Im now WIDE awake !!!! hahaha


so who is coming with you to your op ? and hows your mum been ? bet you are sooooooo excited its amazing how fast it all comes around !!!!!! until then you will officially be a perv !!!! I was it was embarassing I think I looked at more boobs than ryan ever has even he was thinking I was strange !!!!!! I still look now to compare haha
