what to expect 1 week post op ?
Hi ladies
just a thought, had op last weds 3 rd feb, feeling loads better and getting used to having boobs !! shocker even if they are a bit small looking at some of the pairs of lovelies on here !!
anyway to describe what ifeel, it s hot, burny sometimes, other times it feels like when your milk comes in if you ve breastfed . still feel a little bruised more so on ribs, not too bad. i can raise my hands above head but not lift anything. noticed i slept a bit on the side last night . it completely feels like they don,t belong to me and is like wearing a gel bra as someone said on here.one of them is still numb , i guess this is all pretty normal ?
i mean what if inside your body is saying "no thankyou i don,t want these in here lets back to how we were please " and your body is rejecting them , how do you know ?? is it a waiting game , coz then you will always have a worry?
i thought this is the best place to ask,
cheers girls

All sounds completely normal , mine only started to really feel part of me recently as they've softened up and I've got use to having boobies where there were none before.
The feeling will come back gradually, I'm still a bit numb now but the sensation is definately coming back slowly but surely.
It's still early days for you hun, it won't be long until you've forgotten how it felt to have no boobs.

aw hun, what you have said is normal, although I couldn't really lift my arms above my head with out it being a bit sore, so I waited until 4 weeks post op to do that, so ur doing better than I did already. I think they will feel the same as they do now for a few weeks yet, so don't worry if you dont notice any changes. Usually if your body is rejecting the implant you should know about it, they would swell much more, and be very painful. So far you are doing well and your body will just be getting used to them, they will settle into their pockets over the next few weeks and your scars will start to heal (scab over). They will start to feel like yours eventually, when I took my sports bra off it often felt like they were going to fall off lol. But they do stay where they are. I also walked like a hunch back for 2 weeks, which doesn't help with the back ache you get from sleeping propped up, so remembering your posture is a good tip I can give you and try to stand up straight shoulders back etc if you can. Keep sleeping propped up if you can to reduce the swelling you have.
