Todays trip to a lingerie shop!

Called Transform today as now my scars are closed, I wondered if it would be OK for me to wear normal bras (I'm just over 10weeks post-op) and I got a YES!

So I took myself off to a lingerie shop to be fitted for some new bras, now those of you that know my story know that I previously had 460s and measured 34DD, was fitted in Debenhams then and weight never faltered so always remained the same size. I had a re-op, downsized to 410s and had an uplift, which would normally take you down a cup size too, but not for me! I've since been wearing sports bras measuring still at 34DD!

Now, I'm already for my fitting, when the lady takes one look at me and says, there's no way you're a DD! and toddles off to get me some bras to try, I'm thinking, Hmmmm probably gone down a size then and was expecting a D cup which was what I was expecting after my op, so you can imagine my surprise when she comes back in the fitting room with 32Fs! "Just try them on" she says laughingly as she sees the look of horror on my face!

I tried them on - had to lean over and place boobies in cups, but leave the back open, lady comes in, fastens back and adjusts straps and my goodness, they look fantastic!

I'm not at all hung up on size, I don't really care if I'm a B or H! I just wanted a size that was in proportion and suited my frame and I finally have that.

Kinda weirded out by how this whole size thing works, but who am I to question it! I don't really give a stuff, at the end of the day - I'm happy!

I ended up buying a gorgeous flesh tone Elle McPhereson bra - If you girls haven't checked out her range, do so! they're stunning! and give great shape. I also bought a white Freya plunge bra and a black lace over flesh tone wonderbra.

Aw cookie, that's so weird, but glad you are able to wear some lovely bras now. Trust you to go down a size in implant but manage to go up in cup size lol
All that matters is you are happy and loving the new boobs.
I will check out Elle McPhereson's range to as I haven't seen it before

I know! and down a band size too! It's just too much for my lil brain to take in so I've stopped thinking about it!

ohh great news hun , think I have the wonderbra your talking about and if so its fab stuff! I will check out the elle McPheresons range too as I thought they only went to a D or something like that.

Oooops sorry to confuse, I didn,t get the Elle bra at Debenhams babe, that's where I went to be first measured after my first BA - I went to a specialist lingerie shop, but I'm sure you can buy online. xxx

OMG OMG 32F! Cookie I'm sooooo pleased that your happy now hun, you sound so excited and your so right we do get so hung up on size (I know I definately do!) but at the end of it all, it's how we look and if were happy with that, then stuff the size!!

Wow Cookie 32F!! I'm so happy for you hun, you sound so pleased. I'm definately gonna have a look for that wonderbra in debenhams. When I was looking for E cup bras in Debenhams near me I couldn't find much that I liked, I'll have to look on line.

Thanks babe, no the 'measuring size' is and never was a factor me, it matters not to me what the label says, what did matter was how they look and in my new bras, they look mighty fine! LOL!... Funny how great they look now they've been unleashed from the yucky sports bras!

The black and pink is really beautiful nads, I'd have loved that one too but I had to be practical, I'd spent just under £135 on 3 pairs of bras and pants today! LOL so I thought, 1 black, 1 white and one nude will be good.... for starters! haha!... maybe I'll go back for the black and pink in a couple of weeks

Well, they had LOTS of larger sizes in lots of pretty ranges in the shop I was in today babe, you're not too far from me, so I'll PM the link of the shop to you, it's definately worth a visit.
