Re: April Buddies!
Hi
I havent been on here very much since my BA, only just starting to feel better today, not in nearly as much pain as I was. Hope you are all doing ok?
I was just wondering is it usual to go back for dressing to be removed after 11 days, this seems like an long time to me, my hair is so greasy its unreal. My stitches are dissolvable but surely some air will be needed to the incision area? Anybody else had to wait this long?

Hey girls.. April has been a v quiet page this week!! Were are you all!?
I'm having a bit of a boo tday! I'm wishing id gone bigger already!! I think i'm shrinking! Plus lefty has horrible angry stretchmarks appearing already even tho I've been applying bio oil religiously! Grrr!! Not a happy bunny tday! I'm on my period too and just generally feeling rubbish plus this work thing is hanging over me, which I've to go2 the meeting about tday! Really hoping I don't lose the plot and scream
and shout or burst into tears!
On the plus, I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers this morn from my lovely ex boyfriend as this would hve been our 1yr anniversary! Bless him he's lovely, pity it didn't work out, but he's in the RAF and stationed on the mainland.. Distance killed that one!!
Anyways enough of my moaning.. How is everyone else!?xx

I had to wait a week for mine to be taken off and I had dissolvable stitches too. 11 days does seem to be a long time, it was such a relief to get in the shower after 7 days! x

Hey Sophie, sounds like you're just getting used to your new boobs! They soon look small which is ridiculous when you think how much bigger they are now than they used to be!
I've not really been on the April thread lately. I've been trying to cut down how long I spend on this forum because I'm not getting much else done! :teehee: oops

Hey Lovely
I had normal stitches and I am not allowed to have a shower until tomorrow and I will be 12 days post op! I had my stitches out on weds this week and I though after that I would be OK to have a shower but instead I was told to wait until tomorrow!
Glad you are feeling better, I went to the salon to have my hair washed because I could not do it myself for a good few days after my BA.
Lots of love

Re: April Buddies!
Hello all, haven't been around too much as went back to work this week. I also have to say am actually feeling bitterly disappointed about the size of my boobs...in fact it's fair to say i'm pretty gutted at the moment. Despite not wanting to go too big, I did actually think that they would still be bigger than they are. I keep hearing about fluffing etc but i'm not so sure about all that tbh...I had mod profiles anyway so can't see them dropping and filling out eventually. I suppose i will just have to wait and see.
Sorry for the downer posting - I do hope everyone else is ok xx

Awww Nursesophie & Cally .
I know what you ladies mean and i honestly think we all go thru the time when we are thinking are they big enough..... i was only saying to my hubby the same thing yesterday, he told me to stop being daft that they r HUGE !! but to me they dont seem HUGE they just seem smaller than i expected :(.
Hope you both feel better about them as they begin to settle XX
I went to town yesterday and decided to buy my first bra and nics set lol, so went into next and was debating if i should get a 34c or 34d ( been told i would be either) so i thought sod it and got the 34d..... got it home and tried it on and OMG i fill it out :) and it looks amasing .
Maybe if u both did the same it might make you feel better seeing them in a nice bra rather than support ones ??.

Re: April Buddies!
Hello ladies
Sorry I haven't been on, but being back at work makes it sooo much harder to find the time!!
Sophie, Cally ... all the girls on here say they go through loads of changes so don't despair about your boobies just yet!!
I am beginning to love mine now . I would like them bigger but I know they would make me look more chubby if they were (am only just 5'3) and that a D cup on a size 10 5'3 person is def big enough!!! I like big boobs but I think any more and I might be top heavy.
Chelle I had to wait 7 days but my wounds are still covered. I have to cover them with special tape and change it every 5 to 3 days for 6 weeks... mine never get any air!! I have to say though, they look good when I peek as I change the tape, so am not questioning it!
Right going to go and have a nose aorund the forum... it's been 48 hours since was on!!!
xx

Re: April Buddies!
I am really surprised how long some of you ladies haven't been able to shower. I am my BA on Monday and only had to wait until Thursday before I could. The hardest thing was being able to get my arms high enough to wash my hair but my OH came in to help if I needed it, or at least thats why he said he was in there

Hi, Girls , hope you are all feeling ok and getting used to your new boobies, im getting mine tommorow at Bromsgrove with Mr Straten , unders 380 to 440 i think cant remember now lol, im proper scared and having second thoughts, starting to pack has made it all seem so real. Don't worry juebar, everyone goes through the same thing beforehand but you won 't regret it! I could have taken my family on several holidays for the price I paid but it's OK to do something just for you! Enjoy it

Re: April Buddies!
Hi Juebar,
I think when we are mums, wifes, sisters etc, there are always other things to spend money on and most of the time we do. Sometimes we just have to say sod it, this is for me and Im going to have it.
20 years I have been un happy, and only now have I done it, and oh my god it is worth it!!!
Now go get yourself some and have a great day.
Good luck
x

and then other girls ask you for the password and user name so that they can see them
i wont say good luck cos you're not going to need it
you'll be fine, and in a couple of weeks you'll be back to normal with running round after your girls and doing housework....make sure you make the most of them looking after you....the more you rest and sleep, the quicker you'll heal xxxxx

Juebar
You have a fabulous day... don't even think about the money... you can't put a value on feeling complete my love.
take care, and enjoy it.
Also don't worry about being there on your own. My OH left me soon after I arrived and only came and visited for an hour and a half in the evening, so I was alone for most of it. Take your mobile, you'll be fine... enjoy the quiet and no kids!!! :)

Re: April Buddies!
Good luck. Honestly it's the best thing you will ever do. Ok maybe the
most painful, but then again I haven't experienced child birth so you might find it a breeze! It all happens so quickly and everyones lovely before u know it you'll wake up with new boobs and a new you. Plus after day two it gets better and better every day. Best of luck x
