Bra Size
Hi girls
I was wandering round Debenhams today, looking at all their lush undies desperate to buy some but cant not knowing what size i'll be post op and there where signs everywhere about how many women are wearing the wrong size bras.
It made me wonder if i was so i got myself measured and it turns out I'm not a 34b at all, i'm a 32c. The band size felt lots more supportive but I never would have said i was a c cup as i look really small. I was shocked, lol!!
Then when i thought about it i dont think i've had my bra measured for 5 or 6 years so no wonder, lol!
Cant wait to get them measured after my op. I'm going to try and leave it 8 weeks if i can.
Soooooooooooooo excited!!!

Re: Bra Size
aaw I'm a 32c too but I certainly don't feel like a C cup, and a 34b fits ok-ish too, just looser.
You hear people on here saying they want to be a C and I feel like going 'nooooo!, it's not as big as you think!' lol
Not long to go for you now! What size implant are you having and what bra size are you hoping for? Seeing as you're the same as me pre-op I'll be interested in how you turn out x

Re: Bra Size
I'm still really shocked. I mean they just look pathetic ha, ha! Never a C!!
I always thought i wanted to be a d/dd but all the girls that have gone up to a d/dd say they only look a c so now i'm thinking give me some f's, ha, ha !!
I'm going to have either the 380's or 410's not sure yet i'm going to decide on the day, the surgeon said i could have either. I just want to be a lot more fuller but also as natural as poss.
Are you booked for a BA yet? Any ideas what size implant your going to have or what size you want to reach?

Re: Bra Size
No I'm not booked I'm pregnant at the mo, baby due in july and then I hope to have my Ba by the end of the year.
It's my third baby so I know my boobs are going to go back to exactly the same, as they always have.
So it's a long old wait for me! but when the time comes I'd like to be about an E or F.
Good luck for your op x

Not me!!!!... My DDs are HUGE! I'm constantly told I look much bigger, even by the lady who measured me recently, she was really shocked!
Re: Bra Size
I completely agree with you girls, up until last week I used to think a D/DD was like HUGE, goodness knows why but that's what I thought, probably because I thought I was only a 32A and if I went to D they would massive on my small frame so I was all ready to tell the surgeons at consult..."Oooo well I think I'll have 32C (big)/32D (small)". Then like you Danielle I got measured for the first time in 10 years and low and behold she tells me i'm a 30D. I was like...what these babies a D are you kidding me!! I am definately NOT a 32C I don't care what they say so I got a second opinion and was told I'm a 30C, strange because i'm really small!
So now I definately don't want a 32C/D lol...I'm looking at a 30E, which I believe is a 32DD to give me a nice fuller chest. I never would of ever thought i'd be saying I want a DD
Sizing is a complete mindfield but I'm glad I'm not alone in all the confusion! x x

Re: Bra Size
I had always worn a 34A/AA before my ba but when I got measured in debenhams I came out as a 34C. The cup was completely empty but it was so much more supportive because the wires start that much further back. I still consider myself a pre op A cup tho as they were never a C. I think we get a bit too hung up on the numbers and letters. My surgeon told me I'd be at least a full D which was fine by me but I actually measure a FF! I would say that mine DO look their size in clothes tho but suit my frame so I'm not worried.

Re: Bra Size
Hi Sally,
Yeah a few of the girls have said not to get too hung up on the sizes as the surgeons works with the CC's anyway and it is how you feel and look at the end of the day.
Can i just ask you said your surgeon said you would be at least a full D but you measure a FF, so am I right in saying you do look a size D but wear bra size FF?
Cheers! x x

Re: Bra Size
hiya,
I measure a 30e/32DD however i think i only look a C. Which is the size i asked for. When i look at natural women who are a DD they look so much bigger than me. Its really strange and i don't understand it!!

Re: Bra Size
Its funny you should say that - I bought some cheapy post op sports bras from primark in different sizes yesterday. I decided to try them on to have a laugh at how baggy they are now. I tried a C cup on and it surprised me that there wasn't as much excess as i thought there would be! Although sports bras are stretchy, it does make me wonder if maybe i'm a small B cup as opposed to A. Never mind, as long as I get the boobies I want thats all that matters to me! xx
