medicall clearance!!

OH MY GOD!!! finally!!!!! after 5 months since my original op date,its been a nightmare but today i got my letter saying i could go ahead with my surgery!!! woohoo!!!!

this is what my letter reads..... (it was sent to my gp first) ..

dear dr d......

further to this patients appointment in the heamophillia center,her platelet count is somewhat better now at 73 with a neutrophil count of 1.5.Whilst still not ideal,this is certainly an improvement although i would prefer her platelet count to be above 80 for surgery.
i will await her final decision as to whether she is going to proceed.

........... SO, although im still low, its still high enough for the surgery,my heamo is going to write mr out a surgery plan, which i think may involve a platelet transfusion and an injection to boost the white blood count...im not sure tho but anyway, im sooo happy, i cant wait 4 my consultation in two weeks, fingers crossed i like the surgeon!!! hopefully 2010 will bring me my boobies!!!! xxx

hi ruby roo...well i went to london in november and saw nick percival, who i thort was great but they wanna send me to a really expensive hospital (the cromwell), so if something went wrong after the op,i wouuld have to cough up £700 a time just to be admitted back to that hospital for treatment. and i havent got that kinda money..so i have a new consult on the 22nd january with the bmi hospital,mr davison which is only 15mins away from where i live..woohoo,lol. ive just noticed youve got 4 days till your re op!! how are you feeling??? xx
