Saw surgeon again today (2days till op)

So I saw the surgeon again today re wanting to go bigger than what he offered.
I told him how I wanted the allergan mcghan implants and he said that I could really only have 275 or 310 with this brand because they don't have that many sizes to offer and the next one up from 310 would be 345 which he said was just impractical. He is not happy that I want the 310 as I think what I think as nice boobs and what he thinks are nice boobs are completely different! he wants me to look as natural as possible but I want to be bigger than a C cup for definate. Now the thing he said to me was with the 310cc the implant would be 1cm out from the side (next to my arm pits) I dont quite understand what he means will it look like a wide boob or a little bit of implant sticking out from the side looking wierd? Im waiting to hear from my nurse as I find the surgeon a bit intimidating to see what she makes of it. What do you ladies think?

Maybe the width of the 310s are wider than your breast width so you would end up with side boob under your arm hun. If you find your surgeon intimidating are you sure you want him to do your surgery? If you arent happy with your results do you think you would be too 'scared' of him to complain? If yes, i would reconsider x

Have you aready paid? cos if you're not tied to him already (or even if you are actually) I think it'd be a good idea to get some other surgeons opinions on this.

I think what I think as nice boobs and what he thinks are nice boobs are completely different!

I think that you've said it all really, the most important thing is that you and your surgeon are on the same page with what you think is attractive, and then it's down to him to let you know if that's possible, if you see what I mean.

Oh if i wasnt happy I know I could say something for sure. with what he and I think are nice boobs bit I know he understands what I like but its not his taste but I'm happy with that as im happy with him as a surgeon. I've spoken to nurse and she said that they would be like a picture I showed her of what I wanted I dont really know how to explain what it looks like! oh for the first time this week im excited!

Hi hun. I know exactly what you mean as my surgeon (a woman!) wouldn't put any bigger than 275ccs in. I told and showed her what I wanted before my op but when it came to, she said she put bigger implants in during surgery and they looked 'horrendous'! I have been back twice to see her and explained that I would've like them to be bigger. She said she would gladly do a re op for no charge but I would have to pay for new implants and hospital fees (aprox £2500 which I can't afford on top of the £5000 originally!). So it seems I'm gonna have to start liking what she's given me! At least I have some boobs now!

What I am trying to say is, stick to your guns or you may be disappointed if you end up agrreing with what your surgeon believes is right. I think some, like mine, have a personal preference to natural looking boobs but as we're paying a huge amount of money, unless it is life threatening, I think they should do as we ask!

When I read this earlier kate I didn't even notice it says in the title that it's only 2 days to your op!
Well if he's saying that the 310's are a bit wider than your own breast then I guess he knows what he's talking about in saying you can't really go any bigger than that :dunno:

Good luck I'm not surprised you're excited! 2 days! I'm sure it'll be fine, you do sound quite confident in him in your 2nd post.
