I cant believe it, after finally sorting children, husbands holiday and getting in with the surgeon - I have been struck down with tonsillitis!! I Could cry!!!! Help got Tonsillitis!! 856466 Off to see the docs today for some antibiotics, My BA is supposed to be on the 11th Jan (week tomorrow) will it still go ahead?? or will I have to cancel? does taking antibiotics and paracetamol make a differnce to the GA and surgery??
Any advice/help or hope would be wonderful.xxx

I would call up your clinic/hospital and ask about antibiotics before your op as i was told to tell them about illness or any meds taken, good luck and i hope it clears up x

I'm not sure hun, I have had tonsillitis many times and usually goes after a week, the only thing would be having one lot of antibiotics followed by another batch straight after. Give the clinic a call they may have to move it back a week or so, or they may be happy to go ahead as planned.

been put on a weeks prescription of penicillin so would be finished on Sun before the op on Mon! No temp or chest problems. Am off for my final sizing appointment on Weds anyway so will talk to them about it then.. keeping my fingers crossed !! xx
