Re op
Hi. I had my op Nov 7th and haven't been entirely happy with the size ever since. I saw my ps a couple of weeks ago and discussed this with her. She said she would gladly do a re op for no charge but I would have to pay for new implants (aprox £500) and hospital fees (aprox £2000). I definitely cannot afford to do this so wondered where I stand legally. Her last letter clearly stated that I was not happy and at my last consultation before my op I requested at least 310ccs but she put in 275cc because she thought the others looked ridiculous! I have however gone up to a DD and I did request to go to a D but I don't look it!
Just wondered if any of you ladies have experienced having a re op and if you had to pay again? Thanks xxxx

What a horrible dilemna to be left with. It may be worth a brief consultation with your solicitor to see how you stand legally.

Re: Re op
if shes willing to do a re op i would pay!
i too want to be bigger, but my PS would no way put any bigger in me, he said not unless my body changes, so if i had a surgeon willing i would defo pay...but you are still only 2 months post op...you may fluff!

Thanks girls. I'm so hoping to 'fluff'!!! I can't possibly afford another £2500 on top of the £5000 I've already paid! How on earth do people do it?!!! Think I'll have a free consultation with a solicitor....can't you see how hard up I am??!! xx

Re: Re op
Sorry to be a moaning old minny but today seems to be a 'small' day. I put my bikini top on (we're going on hols for my birthday in March which is one reason why I had the op!) and my boobs didn't look much bigger than before! They have definitely dropped but are not as full at the top. Does that mean they will 'fluff'.....pleeeeeeease! It's not the op that bothers me but the whole 6 weeks of not being able to do anything again, especially exercise! At this rate my belly will be as big as my boobs....not a good look eh?!
Thanks for all your help. I hope tomorrow I'll be in a better frame of mind! xxxxx

Re: Re op
Hiya hun, mine were empty at the top and it meant i could accomaodate a bigger implant, i hated the implant sitting in the bottom of my boob and have gone from 250 to 325 in the left and nothing to 405 in the right and now they're definately better.
It's such a shame you are not happy and yes you could still fluff, i fluffed at 6 months previously, i'm not hoping on fluffing this time round though, they're exactly how i like them now.
If you can wait until the summer and then see how things are this would be better because not only are you giving your body time to heal but also time to fluff, in the meantime when you are feeling down about them compare your pre and post op pics and this should help you feel happier about what you have for now.
Hugs x x

Re: Re op
I'm not sure how you'd stand legally hun as there are no actual complications just that you're disappointed with the size. Its worth a try tho hey.
I had a reop 10 weeks after my original ba because of a severe muscle flex distortion and db. My boobs were a wierd shape and that wasn't going to change. My reop was funded by the company as the complications I had were covered by their aftercare policy. If I'd simply been unhappy with the size I doubt I'd even get the offer that you've been given.

Re: Re op
Hi there, if I were you I would def argue your case a bit more. My first ba left me with huge implants (for my frame 475) and I complained until I got an appointment with a coordinator who agreed with me. I went back to Belgium for re-op with uplift and smaller implants. I am now over a year post op and am returning on 4 Feb for another op as the surgeon put in 360 mods which are almost as wide as the 475s, too wide for my frame.
I know I'm the opposite to you and there are not many cases like mine but what I'm saying is that I had to argue my case and in the end they agreed. Dunno if this is much help but I couldn't have afforded a re-op either.
Good luck

Re: Re op
Hi Tazzietwo,
Sorry to hear ur not happy with your boobies....have u any photos u could share so maybe we could share our opinons with you??? Only a thought cos ur such early days and u prob have many changes to come yet.
I think if I were u, I would leave be for a while as there are no complications with them - but a disappointment with size. I am sympatheic though as BAs are alot of money and I too would be disappointed if I didn't acheive the size I wanted to be.
Also the difference in size between 310 and 275 is very small hun. Could you not write to the clinic or herself formerly and really state how disappointed you are and considering this you feel they should waive their fee and offer you a much discounted hospital fee????
Good luck to you and post some photos as we may just fill you with confidence for your boobies. xxxxxxxx

Re: Re op
Hope your feeling a bit better today
I'm sorry to say that I don't think you would have a case for a free reop.
It will be documented that you wanted to achieve a d cup and you have in fact achieved a dd.
I'm sure it will also be documented in your notes that she used the impant size she did prob because that's all she could fit in.
If you do want to go ahead with a legal challenge then I would first of all request a copy of your medical notes so you know what has been documented by your surgeon as this will tell you if you can argue it or not.
