how soon after breastfeeding cn I have BA?
I am just weaning my dd onto bottles and am fast losing my boobs! I have downloaded a fact sheet from a PS website..Mr Alen Rezai's one and on the back of that I received an email from his sec asking if I wanted further info. I enquired about BA after stopping BF and she replied that 6 months is the minimum time. Yet I have found other info that says a couple of months or three is fine.
I want to get the best result from the eventual op but also will miss the boobs I have now - they are like empty crisp bags when I stop BF!!
I have a few more Q's but will post seperately so as to up m post count and get to see some of the pics you all have, if you willl at that point be willing to share..
Thanks for taking the time to read!

Re: how soon after breastfeeding cn I have BA?
Just searched 'breastfeeding' and found the answer to my q! So sorry, ladies Seems to be from 6 weeks after stopping. So Mr Rezai's sec was prob overcatious with 6months but I am ok with overcatious, lol!!
Good that they seem willing to lose business rather than go against their principles as I have had an email since saying to get in touch again if and when I am looking to proceed.

hiya,
When i seen surgeon after having DD3, i was advised 6months to get best result. I didn't bf my 2nd or 3rd daughter but my boobs took a good 5 months to get back to normal, from loosing the milk, and the weight i lost to. xx

Thanks, I think 6 months is reasonable to allow all the milk glands etc to go back into non-production mode! Just now I've decided to get it done, I am really excited! Patience isn't one of my virtues!
I am going to wait the 6 months though as like you say, I want the best result.
Nice to see someone else has all girls! I have 4!!
Thanks for the reply x

Yeah, i agree with the other girls, i've heard 6 months is best as your breasts will change a lot after feeding so its best to wait until they settle properly before augmentation so they dont change after your BA xxx
Re: how soon after breastfeeding cn I have BA?
I've heard 6 months too but it's really down to the surgeon, I'm sure there's a couple of girls on here who had their BAs when their babies were only about 4 months old :dunno:
I hope I don't have to wait 6 months cos I know my boobs go back to normal within a few weeks at most, from previous babies. I suppose it helps if you stay not too far from your usual weight too.
How old's your baby Kayla?

Re: how soon after breastfeeding cn I have BA?
Thanks Nads and mum23boys, the time will fly I know and at least it will mean I can get my head around the whole process a bit more!!
I also like the idea of getting 'them' done when it is the autumn/winter as I will be wrapped up and they will be less noticable when healing and settling!
We also have a holiday planned in October to Cyprus and I want to be able to swim etc.
Thanks mrsm, I know also that my boobs will go very fast as soon as my baby switches to bottles completely. And I really wanted to go from this size to my augmented size with as short a time in between as poss so too many people won't notice - I could say they never went after stopping BF but if they go and then 'magically' return I may have a bit more explaining to do, She is 10 months and very reluctant tto give up the booby, in fact none of my other three have BF this long! So hopefully she will stop completely soon and the countdown can begin ( nice to have something to focus on as I am sad to be weaning her from me as she is lovely and my last baby, BF is so special)
Do you have a baby, mrsm? If so how old is he/she? And when do you plan on having your BA?

Re: how soon after breastfeeding cn I have BA?
I've got an 11 month old (and a 5 yr old, both girls) and I'm expecting another one in July, so it'll be a while before I get my BA, I'm not going to b'feed tho so I'm hoping to have it done by next xmas.
You can always wear gel bras in the inbetween time if you don't want people to notice the change too much.
