What shall i do/
hi everyone, i have my operation on 30th december and last night i fell over on the ice and have fractured my elbow :( im only in a sling though and the nurse at hospital said i should be moving my arm and not wearing the sling in a week.. will i still be able to have my op or not i am going to ring the nurse at mya and explain later but im so worried i wont be able to have it done after waiting all this time :( xx

Oh no poor you!!
You'll have to see what they say and maybe play it by ear and see how you feel.
Hopefully you'll be fine but if you do have to change it you should only have to put it back a week or two, nothing drastic.

i know but iv got the week after my op off work and iv said im going away 4 xmas as i didnt want work to know and i if i cant have the op im going to struggle getting anymore time off..its just typical lol xx

iv just the nurse at mya shes going to ask my surgeon but she said she doesnt se why not aslong as im not in agony or taking any medication which im not..so fingers crossedxx

Sorry to hear about your fall.
I hope everything can go ahead as planned. I was like you...I hadn't told anyone at work...and I'd timed it around the xmas break.... I had it all sorted like a military operation so I was dreading anything upsetting it all. Luckily for me it went well.
