Hi. I am 6 weeks post op today and just wondered if I can now go without a bra to bed? Also, is it ok to go bra less on nights out as I don't see the point in wearing a strapless bra when as we are all so perky, why can't we just go without??? To be honest, I'm more comfortable going braless than wearing underwired.
Thanks girls x

I was told at my 6 week check that I could wear underwire, go without a bra and just treat my boobs as normal.

I whipped my bra off for bed straight after my 6 week check up. I haven't slept in a bra since!

I would say that you will be fine to go braless if you want to. I did a few weeks back and was fine. (I'm 7 months post op though).
You might find that they ache a bit after a while as they are still healing.

I feel odd if I don't sleep in my sports bra! every since I was pregnant with my son I've always worn a bra at night. I have some lovely racer back ones which are so comfy. I think I was borderline uplift material and have quite large implants so want to hold off the inevitable for as long as possible!!

Thanks girls. I just wondered if it was damaging to my new boobs to not have any support. My sb is too tight and feel better without it!

i went braless at night straight after my 6 week check up and during the day i wore halter neck bikinis rather than bras as they were so much more comfortable.
i can wear underwired now no problem but for the first couple of months they were so uncomfortable.
