re stiching/ take two

hia girlies
as most of you know i got restiched last fri round my nipple and then on mon gp said i had an infection and i was due to see my nurse today wel.....
yesterday morning i went to change my dressing as instructed by my nurse and boy did i have a shock, my stches had sliced through my skin (all that nipple pain i was getting was my skin being pulled apart) and left a bigger pussier hole than before the stiches wasnt holding amything, so rather than waiting to see nurse i phoned the hospital group crying and told them what happened they stated my ps isnt in today but they will try and get another ps to see me so i traveled up again the ps said he hasnt seen this happen before he could understand why its happened but he said he will double stitch it with thicker stitches which will leave more scaring but there is no garante that it will work, so the long and short is just got restitched again for the second time in one week nipples feel verry sore and feels lkie its ripping again but hopefully im just being paranoid, seeing nurse on monday to see how its looking, hopefully it will fuse and wont leave my nipple looking horific, i asked him what happens if it doesnt fuse he looked deep inh thought for a while and then sujjested they would prob have to do the whole op(uplift) again, which will be a pain but i was a bit releaved as i thought perhaps id lose my nipple, all sorts run through your head no showering for two weeks i would just like to say how happy i am with the care and support iv had from the hospital group, its a pain traveling up there but they are allways sypathetic careing and ready to help even got a diffrent ps to do the restiching for me at the end of his list @ 6.oo

I'm really, really hoping with all my heart that the stitches take for you this time babe, you've travelled a rocky road so far but you're being well cared for and things will get better babes. Keeping everything crossed that come monday you'll get some good news! xxx

thats great news tutti least they are sorting it for you and gave you another opition, which would be a pain but ids there if needed. they have been brilliant with me to hun. fingers crossed that it sorts it self out. keep us up dated hun xxx

thanks cooksmyster one good thing aout all this is that my geography is getting better with traveling all that way on the train

cheers serena do you use the bromsgrove clinic the nurses are fab there, my only complaint is that they are not closer but having said that i would choose them again even with all the traveling lm changing my dressing tomorrow so i will be able to see if its fuseing im dreading seeing it

Oh TFB you have really been through it as well havent you! Keeping everything crossed for you that these stitches fuse together for you and then you can stop worrying about those boobies and start enjoying them!!

HI hun you sound like your really suffering , cant you see your surgon rather then your p.s?? I cant say i would want a p.s restitching me! When Transform thought i had my scar reopening ( i had a tiny hole at one end) they wanted me to see my surgon straight away so he could fix it & sort out what the problem was.

i changed my dressings yesterday i was totally dreading it as i didnt want to know if it hadnt worked again but i changed it and not that i could see much but the bit that i could see was covered in steri strips but there wasnt loads of puss and no bad smell so i was sooo releaved but cant wait to see nurse tomorrow so she will be able to remove all the steri strips but i good a good feeling that its going to be ok, at this moment im not even worrying about the scarring i just wasnt it to fuse together, other than all my stiching problems i absolutely love the shape of em a bit bigger would have been nice but fantastic shape so ill let you know how it goes tomorrow chow for now x x

aw gutted for you reading this post, but just read your post above, good news, you seem to be healing, really hope this is the case.

hia girlies sorry i havent updated my really rubish laptop decided he wanted a day off and crashed for day or so anyway good news so far so good nipple hole is fuseing and vertical scar is trying to fuse so fingers crossed stil no showering for two whole weeks stitching in for another two weeks and hopefully bob will be my uncle he he (thats a kind of joke) thanks for all your concern it really does mean a lot x x x
