iv got to go back and see me surgeon, great!

hi girls my scars around my nipple has not fused together and the wound on one side of my nipple is about as big as a 20p coin so i traveled to cardiff today to see nurse and she says it has to be re-stiched, so i thought she would do it there and then, she said she was going to phone the clinic in birmingam to see if the surgeon is avaiable tomorrow. anyway she came back and has made an appontment for a week fri to see dr degardo maybe a day case or maybe and overnight stay depending on what the surgeon thinks.
i cant believe iv got to travel all that way on a train for a few stiches but on the positive side i will get to speak to my surgeon and express my concerns about size etc as iv noticed today when i bend over by boobs look a really abnormal shape i cant explain it obviusly its early days yet, i dont understand why i would have to stay over night un less he had to do some reconstructive stuff to my nipples or take it off and put it back on again

Sorry to read this Tutti but think on the positive side hun... at least you're getting the attention your boobs need to get them to what you want them to be like.... and as you say, get the reassurance you need too re size and shape... xxxx

Sorry to hear this hun, its like one big roller coaster this for you!!! On the plus side at least as you say you can discuss your concerns around the size. My implants also look a funny shape when I bend over, I just presumed it was because it was early days and that they havent settled into position yet?? xxx

ah honey what a pain. still better to get it sorted out and at least you know you'll be in the best hands with your ps.

I'm glad this is being sorted out for you and re-stitched, have been wondering how you are.
It's terrible how they just leave you like this, i was left for ages and told to wait wait wait and i wanted it sorted there and then so know how you feel.
Good luck for when you do go. I am unsure why they would need to have you in as an overnight case for a few stitches but maybe they need to do a bit more for you to sort it out.

thanks shooting star i dont know why id have to stay up overnight its going to cost me about 100 pound to grt up there abd a b and b incase its really late as i dont want to be cathing trains through the night x x iv read a couple of peoples thread saying aout there scars openning and wonds and things perhaps theres someting in the air

I know, there seems to be alot of it happening with uplifts too, knocks you down doesn't it chick, a nice soak in the bath seems like a lifetime away!!
I can't believe the hassle you've got to get there, what a pollava for you right on top of christmas too you could do without the expense x x x

What a pain in the bum, its good that your surgeon will be doing the stitching though.

About the funny shape when you bend over, is it like a wonkey cone shape? Thats what mine look like when I bend over.. attractive.. NOT.
