When do you start rubbing in Bio-Oil?
At my 1 weeks appointment, my nurse just put on those little steri strip type of things over my scars and said to remove them on Sunday. By Sunday they were really firmly in place so I decided to leave them there, but today they curled at the edge so I removed them. I can't quite believe how faint my scars are already. My OH couldnt even see the left one at all....I had to point it out closely!
Anyway I cant remember whether she said I can start rubbing bio-oil into the scars when those strips were removed or after 5 weeks when I can start wearing a normal bra.
When did you start rubbing bio oil into your scars?? And is it twice a day? xx

If you feel like you need to keep the sports bra on for longer than 6 weeks then don't worry lovely, I wore mine to bed for a few months after me op.
Like the girls have said don't put anything on the scars until you're at least 6 weeks post op. You can massage bio oil into your boobies though to prevent stretchmarks if you want to.

I kept my sb on for 6 weeks and massaged bio oil into them from 6 weeks. Used bio oil on boobies(not scars) as Roxy said from day one as I was so paranoid about stretch marks.
