I think I've figured out why ...
I'm hurting near my ribs. My underwired 36D bra sits right on the edge of my implant (kinda like squashing it down) and I think that's why I'm quite sore.
I've got on my peacocks 34DD bra and the wire now cups my implant rather than squash it down. Think I should go somewhere else and get measured.
Only thing is if I get a 36DD I think it could be too big but I think the 34DD may be too small.
Any ideas on what I should do? Do for cup comfort and maybe end up a little too big or stick with a 34DD or just perservere with a 36D!?!?

it's the cup I'm sure, as the end of the wire is rubbing my implant right by my ribs. I'm a 36 band all day long but I don't know whether a 36DD would be mahoosive on me. The 34DD peacocks bra I got on is ok now it's been washed, but I'd like to have some nice bras.

I know, it's crazy. But it also feels like I had them done ages ago too. It's like I've never had it. They feel a part of me! X

Re: I think I've figured out why ...
I see hun, no you don't want it too tight that would hurt. I'd just go around lots of different shops trying them on in the 36D and DD and see what is most comfy. But wearing the wrong size makes them really uncomfortable everywhere, you can't get the straps right, they hurt, and your boobs ache. So horrible. You may even be between sizes.
Re: I think I've figured out why ...
I was wearing a 36DD and got measured at a 34FF because my boobs are wide so I need the wires to start further back. I know it sounds huge but when you get into bras that fit properly it really does make a difference.

Hi Jemmy
I didn't bother to get measured at ms or la senza, I went to our specialist little boutique shop where the owner really knows her 'onions' so to speak!
do you have any specialst (non chain) lingerie shops near you?
also, I have always found the better quality bras more comfy, I know they are more expensive but better one good one than five not so good ones...
makes I love are:-
Marie jo (super comfy)
AUbade
lepel
Lejaby
Elixir by Lejaby
Chantelle
Charnos
All of them are not cheap, but they are comfortable, quality and they wash up as good as new for months and months after and the band sizes don't stretch so much they come loose...
finally, I would go for comfort hun..
xxxxxxx
