I have got big boobies at last Yipeee!!! quick question...

Im alive Yippee!!!

will post my story in my diary when im up to it as well as some pics!

all is well so far though and i have lovely big boobies!

Just a quick question...I feel like i got a slab of concrete crushing me and my back is absolutely killing me! Is this normal?and if so how long does it last??

Also when i get up it feels really heavy dropping sensation??

I had unders so i expected discomfort just checking this is all normal! you know me like to worry!!!

Yay! congrats hun glad it all went well I didnt experience any heaviness but i had overs i think thats quiet common in unders. And i was the same too when i stood up i kept holding them because they felt as if they would drop out! try not to worry to much and get some rest.

all sounds normal to me, I had unders too, and I remember well pressure on chest, didn't have such back discomfort tho, maybe one of the other girls can comment later on that..

have you got your sb on? if I didn't have mine on I had the heavy feeling when I got up and would cup my hands under them for support! xx

Oooh congratulations!! I am suffering with back ache and I had unders. Its taken 4 days for the back ache to kick in tho and i think its more to do with how Im holding myself (slightly hunched ready to brace myself should anyone bang into me !!) and also sleeping upright is so not helping! I have a general ache in the small of my back and im quite painful between my shoulder blades.

The weight on your chest feeling sounds pretty normal. I feel like someone has strapped a lump of something very heavy to my front! Id love to be able to put my shoulders back and open my shoulder blades fully - but I just cant! too early I guess.

When I stand up after getting out of bed there is a downward sensation probably similar to what you say about dropping sensation. Its just a tingling and feels a bit strange, and then it goes away.

Rest up, do nothing, take it easy!! Enjoy!

Thanks for advice. Yes my ache is in the small of my back to. and like you say sleeping upright is definately not helping. If i sit in a dining chair (bolt upright) its much better! just want to feel normal. I know i have to give it time i guess!

I had partial unders and experienced the same as you. The day after surgery I felt like I'd been kicked in the ribs several times but by the next day it had passed . The feeling of the implants dropping out is completely normal, for a few weeks everytime I bent over my right implant felt like it was gonna fall out and I was ready to catch it . You'll feel better as the days go by, still very early days for you hun.

i'm 11 days post op now and still get that dropping sensation, particularly when i've been sat down for a while then try to stand up.

all sounds normal to me xxx

Hi hun, I didn't have the heavyness or dropping sensation, but I had overs so probably a bit different. I did have the bad back from sleeping propped up, sore ribs and really sore arm pits that was from swelling. It will go soon enough. Just try and make yourself as comfy as possible.

feeling bad still a bit sick.
took me ages to get out of bed as i seemed to have slid further down the bed making it harder to get up. Have been using loads of pillows but my back is still killing me. When i get up my hubby has to push me from behind. It really hurts my left side and feels like its going drop away from me!I ache all over and feel like ive been beaten up. I am scared and a bit teary so hope this subsides soon. I slept ok but am shattered. i darent go back to bed as i know it will be so painful to get back up again. am sat upright at the mo on the settee but again not comfy at all.dont know what to do tonight?
Please tell me this will go away soon as its worse than i ever thought! was expecting pain as i had unders but this is really hurting me been taking my tablets but they dont seem to do anything. I just want to get on the mend and enjoy my new additions !

Arr hun you are right to moan it really bloody hurts!!!!!!! I had overs & was in agony! I to felt like someone had taken a sledge hammer to my right hand side off my ribs the whole way down & battered me ( sorry if that sounded a little over the top , but thats how i felt lol) i had air bubble not only in my boobs but trapped under my top off my ribs skin which was where i had the drain in & i to got really paniky & upset was totally worried if it was all normal! ( it is beleive me!) I couldnt understand why my ribs were hurting soooooooo much....my husband said maybe the surgon had a little trouble tryin to get my implants in so maybe he ended up kneeling on me! lol bless my OH.............. but seriously your not being over the top & it will really hurt............i couldnt get out off bed on my own for at least the 1st week, couldnt move my arms really at all , my back was killing i had a nasty pain in the side off my left boob that was just horrid..........like i say iwas in agony for the 1st week then i had two days off suddenly feeling ok & i could move around so was on a total high but then came crashing back down again when my left boob got a mondors cord..........though the scar was infected at 1st but after a week off crying & being in agony i took my bra off & found a raised vein going from my scar down to the top off my ribs. some people told me thy had one & it didnt really bother them but mine killed! i1st got it when i started to lift my 18 month old & my S. bras sat rigt ontop off it so even tiny movement was agony so again i rested & got a new bra thats a racer back from M& s & it dont sit anywhere near my scar so im feeling fab again! It was a total pain rollercoaster for me the 1st 3 weeks........i even though it really was not worth all the pain! but now im feeling 100per I Know its sooooooooooooooooo worth it in the long run.

hun you will start to feel better in time..time heals everything!

Thank you sooooo much Sta, you have made me feel a lot better knowing that this is fairly normal. Its just so frustrating, its so hard to take it easy when you are in agony and cant get comfy!

My hubby is supportive but if i start moaning he always says "well i told you not to put yourself in unecessary risk" so i am suffering here in silence!

I just realized hun, we have exactly the same size and make implants, both under the muscle too! The pain you are feeling is horrible but normal sweet- I had to get oh to push my up out of bed too - was in agony and dreaded going to bed. I found it helpful to sometimes sleep sitting on the sofa with my v pillow. But it really was the worst pain I have ever experienced - moe than labour even. Can you take codine? I found these were the only painkillers that worked for me. Just try to do literally as little as possible untill you feel ready. I thought 'I should be able to do more by now' and ended up hurting myself even more, so just listen to your body. Remember you have had a large implant placed under your muscle which is a huge trauma on your body.

It will improve daily!! I recovered on my own, had no one to push me to standing position...used a walking stick I found in a cupboard...it was brill!!

Ah Bless you, how an earth did you manage?
My two sons have been fantastic they are 12 and 10 and have been really good helping out as they had a school training day today! bless them! OH has to work but i am lucky i guess that he is about in the morning and evening to help me. Must have been awful for you.

Today has not been as bad during the day but the evenings tend to be worse.Guess its cause ive been sat around a lot! got to keep moving about to get comfy.
Am really scared about going to bed as it was agony getting up this morning. right side is ok but left under ribs and armpit feels like it stays on the bed as the rest of me gets up!

My hubby keeps looking at my new boobs and is v excited by them! he says they are huge! and they are compared to what they were! still swollen and feel like rocks! bit odd shape but ive seen pics on here the same and i know they will change over time!>
Have to wear this band for 2 weeks to shove them down. Must confess i undid it for an hour tonight so i could breath!!!

Im hoping tommorrow will be a better day. Just want to be able to handle this pain better. It is worse than both my labours, and it doesnt help as the tablets i got are useless!

still i have no regrets..cant wait to start enjoying them!

I was fine on my own...just laughed a lot at myself, as you say getting up from lying is often difficult....I recall being much more aware of my ceilings. I would lie in bed thinking or telling myself to move 1,2,3, go..couldent!! and the laughter started which starts the aching and a viscious circle really

Walking around the house too (that's when I discovered the walking stick wow!!) and dodging visitors and postman ......well I could have been locked up for sheer mad behaviour I am sure!!

Everyone is different, you will heal when your body is ready...probably worse for you having children and a hubby to think of....children are great, but we all put a brave face on for them.

Rest as much as possible, and little walks to get system moving and posture better is enough untill it feels right.
