Have been taking arnica for a few days now.. without fail, will see if it was worth it soon enough lol.

I have to say its great reading all your moments or madness and excitement.. I have stopped talking about it with my mates /man as they don't get it at all. thank god you lot are here.

Today my main concern has been remembering to take arnica and then wondering if you can take too much.... my pc says no you can't really OD on it.

Next question for you girlies.... xmas drinks tomorrow eve (surgery is tues) do you think I can sneek a couple of gins in?? bacardi and coke maybe??? only hard liquor after all. If you think its silly and i shouldn't please say. My nurse said no booze the week before. So maybe just one????

Katy - Wahoooooo 5 days to go re the drink....difficult one. I would do what your ps/nurse tells you to be honest although i am sure 1 drink won't hurt. But to be on the safe side follow your guidelines. There's plenty of time for boozing afterwards :-) well thats what i keep saying. I am still on painkillers so can't have any yet but i also don't feel like any hmmmmm hope my urge for wine returns soon I stopped taking arnica as it made me feel sick. I then re-started & felt sick again so have stopped it again. Just hoping i don't get too much bruising now.....


p.s having boobies is just the best feeling ever!!!! x

Stephy I don't know pet lol... My coordinator ordered the 435's yesterday and has a driver to take them to the hospital... So I'm just keeping my fingers crossed lol. Oh and how yer new puppies doing?? x

Katy, I had my christmas do last Friday and I had 'a' glass of wine (ok, so it was a rather laaaaarrrrrrrrrge glass, but even so, it was still 'just' a glass lol) but that was me a week away from my surgery the following day.

It's a chance you take hun and within myself, it's one I wasn't willing to take... Frig between no alcohol, garlic, spicey food etc... I'm going off my trolley (not the alcohol part, don't be thinking I'm an alcy or owt lol).

Haha... ya know I'm sooo thankful I have somewhere to rant about and not be judged. My whole life is just 'boobsboobsboobsboobsboobs' I know I'm driving my friends and family bonkers, but I can't help myself, so it's a relief knowing we have one another on here :)

Suprisingly im ok too, got butterflies in my tum but thats it. This time tomorrow i will be in Spire, Norwich

Im sure we will both be fine with no problems, i was talking to my grandma last nite and she said "you will be fine and you will feel fine if you have confidence in your surgeon as thats what counts" She has had many op's and she said she always felt fine because she loved her surgeon and she loves the feeling of GA x

Awwww I love your Granny! Never a truer word said... Confidence and belief are vital for this kind of thing I think :)

Helena - My ps said that i was allowed a light shower but i had to pat dry my dressings straight after. All ps's are diff. I found a shallow bath was better than a light shower, meant i could keep my dressings dry & wash my bits x

katy- its great to have u on the christmas boobies board!!! i know what u mean about going on about boobies my OH has had enough haha and the on the alcohol question, i had a mulled wine on mon and that was under a week so mayb a small one, but if your not too sure maybe leave it for piece of mind, your have plenty of times to get merry after

OH MY F**KING GAWD!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, my bag is packed, my boobies have never been rubbed up soooo much in the past 48 hours than what I have with the help of 'Re-Gen Oil' haha, house is tidy, food in, all that's to do now is have a long relaxing bath which I am thoroughly going to enjoy!

HS I wish we were in the same op' room so we could cheer one another on lol... My thoughts will be with you as I'm laying there knowing you're going through the same thing.
