What a day, All Booked!!
Hi,
Can't believe I booked it. Decided if I was going to do it, wanted to tell my mum first, and what a reaction, I had been dreading it for 2 weeks was just going to back out of the whole thing, feeling sick, palpitations and kept chickening out to be told "good for you, if thats what you want" well I was shocked to say the least. Got home spoke to OH again I couldn't make up anymore obstacles if I tried now, so got on the phone and just booked it, then had a cup of tea and what a relief. Mum is going to tell my dad for me. Waiting for 16th November to be confirmed for Dr Lahoud, Stirling. Any advice on the next stage would be very helpful, although atm, it feels like I've just done the hardest bit. So hopefully 16th November 380cc overs 34b to 34d/dd. I'm still in shock, didn't think I could do it.

Re: What a day, All Booked!!
Well done Lis, it is a big step booking it! So glad your Mum is supportive because I know it can be worrying for them.
It sounds as if you know the size you are having, so I think the next stage is to sort out help for afterwards for a week or so. Try and get a couple of different sports bras (mine were from M & S), arrange to have some shopping in so you don't need to worry, and see what you might need to take to the hospital or clinic. It depends if you are staying overnight or not. I was a day case so only packed a couple of books, my sports bras, and some snacks and drinks for afterwards, (although the food was great so I needn't have worried).
Well done! Try not to worry now, I did, but it was fine! I needn't have been so nervous.

Awwww it's a huge step making that final decision to book isn't it and once it's done the butterflys kick in!!! LOL
I'm overnight too, here's what I'm taking, second time around for me so going prepared this time! -
button front PJs
A light dressing gown
Socks (feet get very cold after anaesthetic)
Face wipes
Moisturiser
Lip salve (Lips and face get really dry too)
Roll-on deoderant
Toothbrush/toothpaste/mouthwash
Couple of magazines
My mobile
and that's it!

Congrats! Only a hort wait for you too (although I know it wont seem it right now!)
I'm glad your mum was so supportive!
I would take a few days to let it sink in then think about sports bras, v pillows, childcare, cooking meals for the freezer...

Re: What a day, All Booked!!
Thanks everyone, starting to calm down a bit now, and going to try and chill for the next two weeks (if I can). Feels like someone else is getting it done and not me. It was a rough few weeks to get to this decision and I feel exhausted.

Re: What a day, All Booked!!
Hi,
Congratulations on booking your surgery date!
I was a 32B and was offered 380 or 410 overs. I plumped for the 410s in the end. If you want any advice or to look at my pics, let me know as we started off roughly the same and you are getting similar sized implants.

Re: What a day, All Booked!!
Hi marie would love to have a look at your pics if you don't mind as so far I've only done the rice test and it looked sooo big but I've been told on here not to go by that though. Although now my parents know and I won't need to worry about hiding them I don't care How big they look anymore :boobshake:

Great news , I've been enjoying the rest from the children, I've actually got long nails now for the first time since being pregnant with ds1. Not changed a nappy for over a week now .
