Fed up
I guess I'm going through all those emotions you girls have talked about, but today I feel really bad, I've just had a good luck at my new boobs and the right one looks a lot smaller than the left one (it was smaller before my op) and I'm starting to wonder if my surgeon should have put a bigger implant in my right one???
I know it's early days and I have lots of changes to go through but there is a big difference and I can't see how it's gonna change that much. xxx

Re: Fed up
Awww poor you i hope you feel better soon and it's not uncommon to have post booby blues so try and ride it out best you can and don't feel too negative, it is very early days and swelling will be apparent, not only that, soo many girls say about one being bigger than the other at first.
Now regarding the fact of one being bigger pre-op, this will be the case post-op if he used the same size implant but 'alot' smaller is not reasonable so if after a month or so this is still the case then you are within your rights to bring this up, he should have picked up on it pre-op so it would be surgeon error and not your fault if there is a huge noticable size difference and i'm sure you'd be within your rights to have it rectified, but don't go worrying about all that just yet, concentrate on healing up and let the swelling subside.
sending you big hugs x x

Re: Fed up
aww hun im sorry to hear you're feeling down :( we've all been there though..
Due to each breast being worked on at different times, it may be that there was a little struggle to get the implant in which in effect has caused more swelling?? its still very early days so try to stay hopeful :)
Ive had lots of things that have worried me, i thought a few days ago that i had the double bubble effect but it was just me over analysing and staring too much at them! try not to think about it too much and im sure within the next week or so the swelling should go down and hopefully you'll learn to love them...
andddd... every woman has different sized breasts so i wouldnt worry too much. I had different sized implants and i still notice a difference in size between the two.. makes them seem that little bit more natural lol xxx

Re: Fed up
My hubby thinks I'm over analysising it and that things will settle FB (I probably am). I'll give it a few months but like you said SS I will bring it up if it gets no better. If it needed rectifing would they just do the right one or would he have to mess with my left one too??
I'm gonna try not to think about it too much xxx

Personally i don't think it will come to that, this is the number one complaint (different size/positioned boobs) i hear about post op and almost always rectifies itself as they settle down, if it were to be something that needed surgery to fix then i should imagine it would be just the one, it's way too early for you to be thinking like that though, try and enjoy having them rather than worry about them and think of all the reasons you wanted your boobies for, that should get you smiling again x x

Re: Fed up
Aw Kerry!!
I agree with SS and others...early days, also one may be more swollen than other? One may also have dropped slightly? I would not exspect to see a clearer outcome untill 6week mark. I do think you should discuss with your P.S. again as it seems you must have pre-op if you know there was a difference.
I dident know mine were different pre-op untill I was given a copy of my pics? We all have differences I know my left foot is slightly bigger than my right, also my fingers differ in each hand...I am special because of these things...and delighted to have some boobs.
Try and take it easy on yourself!! Meds, cold, boredom and expectations...are a mindfull all at once!!
Hopefully knowing others have the same issues and thoughts helps. I would discuss with P.S. to ease your feelings and make the most of your healing time and let it take it's course.

Re: Fed up
Hi Kerry mac
any consolation my left one was sooooooooooo much bigger than the right and about 2-3 weeks po I felt really gutted actually, every time I looked in mirror all i could see what this big football on my left and a cutie boob on the right now they are virtually a pair again, leftie has always been quicker to do anything than my rightie too! 7 weeks po this week and funnily enough leftie has gone again!!! but I am confident next week they will look level and a pair again.. try to to fret too much, they change so much the first few weeks.. xx

Re: Fed up
My left was bigger than my right and after my op my left was the one that dropped softened and always looked bigger or different to my right. But I found they evened out. It did take a while. I didn't have a big enough difference to warrent another implant. I'd say the difference is much less noticeable now than it was before. I hardly notice.
