Re: im a big wimp
aww hun! i was the same dont worry.. as are most!
its fear of the unknown but honestly i when you see the results you will forget about any pain or discomfort :)
the first few days are going to be the most painful but with the amount of pain killers i was on it was just more awkward to sleep than anything else.
a month later i feel fantastic! just think of the outcome and you'll do fiiiiiiiine xxxx

Overs don't hurt hun. Honestly. When you come round from your op they will have pumped you full of so many drugs you won't feel anything. Then you get drugs to take home. And they just aren't painful.

Re: im a big wimp
Having had unders then overs 10 weeks later I can honestly assure you that its discomfort rather than pain. Overs were a breeze - ok the pockets were already there but as there is no trauma to the muscle the recovery is sooo much easier. Like the other girls said, you will be on so many meds it will be a breeze x

Re: im a big wimp
Try not to worry too much about the pain, it really is much, much less painful than you think. I had unders, although wanted overs as I thought they would hurt less and I would recover quicker, and it was fine! I was so anxious and I needn't have been, it is quite a nice experience in the end, and worth it!
Good luck for the 9th. It will be fine!

Re: im a big wimp
I had the same, but its all worth it and I had hardly any pain, only bit discomfort and NO bruising at all... its nice to read the ba stories of all our ba days in the stories section, that may help to calm the nerves, its so so so worth it hun... try to enjoy the build up... just think of those new
