UPDATE: Girlies, I felt a lump... TYPICAL!!!
So typical ain't it. It's my year anniversary tomorrow, and I was just having a little fondle, as we all do! And I felt a lump on my right boob, just by my nipple. It's not a lump per se, more like a line... it feels like a line and I can feel someting squeak against the implant, like if I press it in it disappears.
So I have three theories...
One: CC. It could be a bit of hardened scarring that's rubbing against the implant, though I'm not sure if it works like that.
Two: Rippling. As it's a line, almost horizontal from my nipple to the outer corner it could be a ripple, but I don't really think it's the case at all.
Three: Rupture. Not done anything that would make it rupture, no accidents or anythign like that. But it could be the jelly like silicone that's escaping, and when I press it it goes back into the sshell.
Soooooo TYPICAL!!!
Will be contacting Transform next week, in case it's a raised gland or anything to give it time to settle. I will deffo want it checked out though. Reop it may be dammit.
Oh well, I thought it was too good to be true!!!!
xx

Re: UPDATE: Girlies, I felt a lump... TYPICAL!!!
Thanks girls. It's just so typical, I'm the most unlucky person in every sense of the word, so I did think twice about surgery in case somethignwent wrong... thought I'd got away with it as well.
Oh well, what's the worst that can happen.

XXXX
Another theory Roxy....Mondors cord?
Self diagnostics...not always helpfull...Let us know how you get on...always best checked out and clarified by surgeon!!
Whats the worst that can happen??? A little inconvenience and rest from a re-op. Try and be calm and positive xxxx

Re: UPDATE: Girlies, I felt a lump... TYPICAL!!!
Hello Roxy. I hope it's nothing and you don't need a reop. I am like you and always fear the worst, but the worst doesn't always happen, even to an unlucky soul like me (if things are gonna be bad it will always happen to me, or that's how I feel). It could be a simple cyst which is easily removed, or even just lumps before your menstral cycle as we all tend to be a bit lumpy round this time whether we notice or not. From someone who also tends to fear the worst, try not to worry hun (easier said than done).

Re: UPDATE: Girlies, I felt a lump... TYPICAL!!!
Sorry to hear this hun, hopefully its nothing serious enough for a reop because your boobies are perfect! lol, doesnt sound like cc, but yeah maybe a bit of scar tissue or traction rippling, or even the implant folding a little, hopefully its nothing x
Re: UPDATE: Girlies, I felt a lump... TYPICAL!!!
I really hope so girls, thanks co much for all your kind words... you really are wonderful!
I had a horrible night last night, OH ended up coming home in the early hours so I couldn't even talk to him about it. I know now what it feels like, it's like a knot, or an air bubble.
I called my PCC this morning and left a voicemail, just to let her know what I've found and that I'll call again next week to make an appointment. Tbh, I just wanna go out today with my sis and mum and forget about it, but it's constantly on my mind.
I've checked and doublechecked my revision policy so if it is a rupture I'm fully covered for at least five years.
And I thought it was all over!!
xx

Re: UPDATE: Girlies, I felt a lump... TYPICAL!!!
Oh no hun. Typical over the bank holiday as well!
There is no point saying try not to worry because that is impossible. You need to try and keep yourself busy over the next few days so you are not obsessing about it. As soon as Tuesday arrives you need to phone them up and book an appointment.
Thinking of you hun and keeping all my fingers crossed for you
