Boob Pain
Hey girls
Since yesterday I've been getting what can only be described as like a burning cramping sensation in my right boob. It's not really bad pain, but it is uncomfortable and keeps coming in waves - not a constant pain. Has anyone else had this?? Just a bit worried as gone 4 months pain free no problems and then suddenly this has started!! Thanks xxxx

Re: Boob Pain
Hi SM!!
I would give them a call just to put your mind at rest!!! I only realised that I still had strange sensations up to around 5month time, not pain or discomfort..just feelings. I had fully under the muscle which I believe takes longer for all internal bits to heal too.
I knew this just from being on here and trying to relate to others, only because someone asks...you think ....and become more aware. I know it went around then as now I feel nothing only boob.
Not sure if that is much help or comfort to you!! Hope you feel better soon xxxx

Re: Boob Pain
Thanks Mia It's definately more of a discomfort than a feeling, it's just since I've had it done I've had no weird feelings at all they've been absolutely fine :dunno: I've heard of girls saying that the nerves reconnecting can cause some strange feelings so I'm hoping that's what it is, but think best to give Mybreast a ring to see what they say if I can still feel it when I wake up tomorrow xxxx

Re: Boob Pain
I would be calling to SMB, even if deep down you kinda know it is normal...just the clarification stops the worry. And, the nerves knitting back does take some time..... often up to a year, as explained to me before op. Also, some people have numbness which is connected, and, also can take that time to recover. However, just hearing it from the surgeon would be needed for me too.
Thinking of you....let us know how you get on. xxxxx

Re: Boob Pain
Hey Hunni
I got pains and burning sensation in my right boob on and off for quite a while. I was just thinking the other day, that it's probably been 2-3 months since I last did! Hoping that it's finished with that now!
Anyway, when I used to get it I would massage and it would go in a couple of days (until the next time). I would deffo call MyBreast to see what they say.

Re: Boob Pain
Hey Maria, reassuring to know you've had it too and that all is normal!! I need to ring Mybreast as well to see about my 6 month check as wont be able to make it when it's due, so I guess I can sort out both at the same time. Will try the massaging too and see if that helps thanks Maria for the tip
I didn't realise the sensations could last up to a year Mia, but I guess the body is an amazing thing doing all these little bits of the healing process behind the scenes!
Thanks for your great advice as always ladies xxxxx
