Leakage1

hey ladies I had my BA done on saturday and when I woke up this morn, i notice there had been a discharge and there was some **naughty word** water on my dressing, is this normal, is it easy to rip the stitiches, hope I have not over done it, coz feel like someone is pushing a knife under my right boob where my incision would be, is this session normal?x

From what I have learnt, the leakage is normal. The incision can weep a little.

I'm sure someone will be along to help with the 'pushing' feeling x

Hello Blue!!

Congratulations on your op....sorry you are feeling concerned!!

I would call your surgeon/clinic to clarify and ease your concerns.

I dont know really the answer, however, I assume it is just a build up of fluid from the op. that is escaping...better out than in. I guess the stitches could easily come undone and some blood or other fluid could also leak. I dont think any of these would be a problem, and could easily be fixed with a clean and steristrips. The pushing feeling is likely just to be your incisions healing.

Personally I would call just to check and save worrying....sounds like it is a two minite look really to my knowledge.

Sounds normal if its clearish in colour its just fluid x
