What size bra to buy?
My PS said I won't be sent home in a bra after my BA and that I won't need to wear one for the first 10 days or so. If I then want to wear one he said to get a non underwired one and preferably with no seams. This is all fine but as I won't have one on to come home with I won't know what size to get!!!
Sorry if I'm confusing you!!! Have I basically got to buy one in the size he said I would hopefully be and wait until I can be properly measured before I buy more??
I sound really thick don't I but don't want to spend loads on bras to only wear them once or twice!!

Re: What size bra to buy?
Hi hun, I had a bit of an ordeal with sports bras after my ba, couldn't get one to fit!! I was supposed to be a 32C but the only 32 band that went round me was a racerback..not ideal.
At 10 days you could probably go out and get measured for a decent sports bra (or measure yourself). Most online companies are really good with returns/refunds if need be. The best thing I found was to get the £6 sports bras from asda in a range of sizes - you can always take back the ones you don't need. I haven't had big implants but I've found them to give good support.

Yes, you often do have to buy several sizes because they change shape as they heal. I used the Asda ones and found them very supportive and comfortable and not too expensive.

Re: What size bra to buy?
straight after my ba i wore a £4 primark 36d sports bra just because i never knew what size i would be.. surgeon told me 32dd..lol but i couldn't find any 32dd anywhere.
5 days later, im wearing a 34dd sports bra which goes over my head just £7 but it's easy to get on and off..
I think ill get myself measured properly in about 4 weeks?
my stomach is still really swollen and podgy at the moment so im not up for trying underwear on yet :( lol
