375-410 overs?!
Hi All,
I'm booked in for op on 4th Sept and can't decide between 375 and 410 hp overs. Also i'm not sure whether to go for the belini lift or hope that the implants will lift enough!? I'm a 34 B just now but quite a lot of loose skin due to weight loss when I was younger. Wouldn't say my boobs are overly droopy but they definitely could be improved. Surgeon said he'd like to avoid extra scars at all costs so wants to wait and see what they look like with implants in before he decides if lift is needed... but i'd kind of like to have an idea before i go in! My main concern is to have all the loose skin filled out. Has anyone else had augmentation after weight loss with or without the nipple lift? Any suggestions?
Thanks!
xx

Re: 375-410 overs?!
I was a 34aa and had 280 partial unders with a benelli lift - I'm now a large c.
I also found it hard to decide whether to go for the lift. My ps recommended it because he thought there was quite a droop, but said he would leave it for me to decide because he could always do the lift separately afterwards if I wan't happy.
I did have it done at the same time as my BA and my boobs are now a lovely shape (which I think is just as important as having a good size!).
However, the nipple scar is still quite red and is obviously going to take a good 6 months to settle down. Sometimes it's sore too. I don't regret having the nipple lift, but, in retrospect, I think I should just have had the BA, seen what they looked like, and then made my decision.
That probably doesn't help you much, but I think you might just have to follow your surgeon's advice and let him decide what to do when he sees what you look like when the implants have been placed.
Unfortunately it's not something they can predict very accurately beforehand

Hi!
I know it's hard to predict, I think i'd just rather have a decision in my head, not sure how I feel about going under and not having a clue if he'll do it or not! Surgeon is quite keen to avoid the extra scars because i'm quite young (25). I suppose he's thinking i might benefit later in life with a lift after having children etc but part of me thinks if i'm going for surgery anyways I might as well get it all fixed! Hopefully get it all cleared up on Friday when I see him again, i'll drive him nuts with all my questions!

I would definately get the lift now rather than putting in a bigger implant over the muscle - this is a short term fix and your boobs will probably look great to at first but soon your boobs will sag more from the weight of the heavy implant, after a couple of years.
I wouldnt let the scars worry you as they heal and are usually invisible by 6 months post op, plus you'll have perky boobs.

I would get a second opinion, the ps should know if you need a lift or not without waiting to seeSurgeon said he'd like to avoid extra scars at all costs so wants to wait and see what they look like with implants in before he decides if lift is needed... but i'd kind of like to have an idea before i go in!

hey!!! i was an empty 'slightly' droopy 34b due to weight loss before my op. i had 410 overs a week ago today.... and must say...they are as perky as you like!!!!!!!!!!
ill get some picks up later today if you'd like to see...... but def have a second opinion as he should really give you are more of a definite answer that
'wait and see' xxx

Re: 375-410 overs?!
Hi again!
I'll see what he says on Friday, I think i just need to be really clear with him about my expectations and then he might be able to be more definite with me about whether to go with lift or not! I'm leaning towards just going for it just now, might as well go for as close to perfect as I can get! That would be really helpful if I could see your pics sounds like we're similar sizes! going to ask him if he has pics of similar circumstances as well atleast then I can tell him what i'd be happy with and what i'd be disapointed with!

I couldnt decide between those two sizes either- glad i went for the 410s though as you loose 10% of the size when implanted.

I'm really glad I went with 410s too, if I had gone with the 380s I think I would have been disappointed as they don't look as big inside you as they do in your hands lol. xx

Do you mind me asking what size you were before 410's and what size you ended up? xx

I think another consult would be very helpfull for you too. There is little difference in the sizes, however, you do have to understand the procedure and all options available and what is best for you. I wish you well...it is a very trying time!! xx
