I have mine tomorrow and i cant remeber what happened first time around. Does the nurse take off your dressings? I know i had to have extra ones on my nipples last time for an extra week but i cant remember about underneath???

Im gonna update my pics as soon as i get back, i cant wait to show you all how soft they are for 1 week post op, im amazed!! x

im going for mine at six days and they said they will remove my strapping an change the steri strips.
not sure if this will help you !!

I had mine at 2 weeks po hun, had my steri strips changed and pics taken, that was about it really since i had taken my bandages and strap off the day before, good luck for tomorrow x

At my 1st week check up I saw the doctor at the clinic, he removed my bandages and steri strips cleaned the incisions with iodine, then put clean bandages on them, said I could take them off after 3 days and have a shower wnet through post op care and that was basically it. x

Thanks ladies, i hope she removes these and just puts steristrips on as i couldnt bare more of this big stuff it pulls! x

I took my own mummy-style strapping off, then when I went to see the nurse she took off my steristrips. One had healed well but the other needed seristrips reapplying.
