Advice Pls girls
Ladies,
I've been advised to have 340cc round partial unders by my PS as have little breast tissue and he said having overs would mean they could look 'stuck on' which I don't want and also may be able to see the outline of the implant, which I also don't want. But I see from on here that some of you that have partial unders have full projection etc etc!! My PS didn't give me the choice of anything other than round implants and I'm a little concerned now that they're not gonna look much different to now!! Bit silly I know cos I currently have little 34a boobies and anything would be an improvement on this!!!
I would really love to have a cleavage after as I have a non existent one at the moment but by the sounds of it this is not achieveable with unders? But then saying that could I not shove them together in a really good bra to achieve one?
Any advice would be great.

Re: Advice Pls girls
Hey lovely,
Did your surgeon say what projection you'd have to have if you have unders? There's a few different things about implants:
Projection - how far the implant stick out. These usually come in ultra high, high, med and low depending on the make and model.
Shape - round or anatomical
Placement - unders, partials and overs.
Most girls with overs or unders find it hard to get a cleavage with a small implant, as you have to take into consideration the gap that you'll naturall have. I think it is a little easier with overs, but if your surgeon has suggested partials, I'm sure it's for the best

Re: Advice Pls girls
Hi RoxyChick,
He didn't mention anything about the projection to me so I can only presume it will be low. I should be receiving my letter either today or tomorrow so it should hopefully say on there what I'm having, if not I'll give them a call to find out.
Would you say that 340cc is a small implant? He said it should take me to at least a C if not a small D.
Thanks, Gemma xx

Re: Advice Pls girls
Projection is another term for 'profile', so yes, rounds have them as well.
You can read about the various pros and cons here:

I think the main factor influencing whether you get a clevage after depends on whether you could get one before. Strange as it may seem some very small breasted ladies can get a clevage (with the aid of padding obviously!) simply because their breasts are naturally very close together.

Very true Annie, my friend who was the same size as me pre op, was able to get a really good clevage with special bras, however I was left flat as a pancake

Might be worth asking for a second consultation to confirm what he's going to do. This is surgery you're purchasing after all. You're paying a lot of money in the middle of a recession and your company/consultant should explain things to you properly.
