Padded bras
Howdy beautiful people,
Question? Do padded bras damage your implants?
I have just brought a lovely bra from debenhams, ultimate yellow frill plunge bra. It is a padded bra (wanted an in ya face cleavage, which it gives), only the padding is quite thick and a wavy shape. I wore it for about 2 hours and when I took it off my boobs had gone a funny shape where the padding is. By the morning all was fine again but I'm worried about wearing it now. Any thoughts or advice please, you wonderfully wise lot xx

Re: Padded bras
No I don't think it would damage them! I've been told push up is OK by my surgeon. As u know I have to massage mine daily and part of the plan is to punch them from underneath and hold for a few seconds. When I let go it takes a while for them to sink back down again. Wearing a push up I guess is no different - you've spent all day pushing the gel up so it's going to take a while to settle back in! The same way bras leave marks and dents in your natural tissue - takes about an hour for it to vanish! As long as it doesn't hurt its ok! X

I meant pinch them from underneath - not punch. That would hurt - haha! X

No bra is quite comfy, well for the short while I was wearing it. I'll give it another go then. Cheers my lovely xx

Yeh i agree with [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] its just an imprint probably.
I bought that bra that you have on in your avi, looked amazing except for my nipples were out of it in the lacey but so im taking it back.
Shame cos it fit so nice and gave a lovely cleavage.
Im not buying no more bras now.
Keep thinking of having them out...but cant be arsd with the mess it will leave and the cost...

Re: Padded bras
They just don't look as good or as natural as I thought they would I guess.
Nude I'm talking about....One nipple is higher, right implant is closer to my armpit, my gaps wide so hardly have a cleavage, leftie aches a lot, running is a pain, even just running for a bus, cuddles aren't as nice anymore, difficult when laying on my front, and basically they look the same in clothes as they did pre op!
I don't hate the and they do look good in certain tops, but sometimes felt a little too conscious if it's a low cut top anyway!
Dunno, kinda wishing I would of got my eyes layered instead !
Lol

Re: Padded bras
They look great to me and I've seen them nude (haha sounds dodgy!). I'm similar to u in that mine aren't perfectly symmetrical and I guess I was basing my judgement of bigger boobs on page 3 girls who obviously have perfect boobs. Fact is - u and I both have kids which severely messes boobs up. When mine were small they weren't perfect either and having them larger kind of accentuates the imperfections. But u have to weigh up and I'd rather have big imperfect boobs than small less imperfect boobs!
The running etc is an issue tho - it's odd they ache and u are still getting pain. Maybe that is something to bring up with surgeon. I do a lot of running, weights, hiit classes etc and asides from occasional aching after push up my boobs haven't changed anything I do. What sports bra do u have?
Hopefully u are just having a blip as u were so happy with them before! Big hugs xxx

Re: Padded bras
Oh Twinky I'm so sad to hear that. They look fab in your avi.
My PS was v keen to stress that all my imperfections (different size, point outwards, different level nips) would be accentuated after op but I guess I can put up with that to have firmer, perter, bigger boobs!
But then I may hate them in 6 months time!
xx

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], I love your boobs, now that really sounds dodgy lol, but honestly I do, in all your Avi's they look bloody lush. I understand about the imperfections, I am the same and I have the rippling to add but I am much happier with them than with what my babies left me with.
I don't run a lot so can't comment but have you tried other sports bras? The pain.... I'd definitely bring up with my surgeon though.
I hope that you feel better about your girls soon xx
My nips also pop out in the bra but it's comfy and only cost £7 in debenhams sale so I'm keeping it but have to choose wisely on the top to wear with it ;-).
