5 weeks post op already! :)
Hi everyone, hope your all doing well!
My laptop has been broken for 3 weeks so not been on here in a while. Everything is ok for me on the boob front, apart from one little niggle I have.. above my right scar is a small spot from one of the stitches and has been there since week 1. I rang the hospital about it and they told me to pop down, so I did and a nurse had a look and used surgical tweezers to check for any left over stitches that hadn't dissolved but she found nothing. Told me to just leave it and hopefully it will go away, but now 10 days later it is still there.. I pressed around it gently in front of a mirror and a bit of puss oozed out along with the bit of scab that had formed. I'm not moisturising it due to it being open skin.. but just hopefully it will go away as it hasn't filled back up with any puss or fluid for the last couple of days.
Other than that.. I feel happy. I have those days where I think what have I done to my little natural boobs haha, but I knew I would at some point. They look smaller than I hoped but not by much, and look good in clothing due to them being petite. They feel really squishy too which is good.. and they look like they have 90% dropped and fluffed already (with the exception of one sitting differently) which could either just be early days or as they were asymmetric pre op anyway. So yeah, all is good :) I still wear my macom for work to support me but I sleep with nothing on which is nice, and still using my V pillow on my back. No pain at all really apart from the odd shooting pain etc and burning on my incisions if I pull my chest too fast or when I get up in the morning. Just eager to get back in the gym but wondered whether it was 6 or 12 weeks most people recommend? My surgeon said 6ish weeks.. can't believe how fast everything has gone!!
Sorry for the long message, just not really thought about them for ages so its nice to have a minute and have a catch up! xxx

Re: 5 weeks post op already! :)
Hello,
Glad you are doing ok!! I can't really advise on the spot but if it continues to ooze with anything then definitely report back to surgeon!
Re Gym - i've been back since 8 weeks (ps told me 6 wks but I didn't feel quite ready then and I wanted to play it safe). Just did light cardio the first week but have been upping it since then and am now back to running 6k-ish and weight lifting and no problems at all.
I have to massage my boobs and its soooo boring - it takes 15mins so I do squats while I do it - I must look a picture but it keeps the boredom at bay and I feel I'm doing something useful now - haha!! xx

Glad your happy.
I was told 4 weeks for light work outs and work my way back in slowly but to avoid weights till 12 weeks. If you've had the ok from your ps then go with what your body tells you xx

Great update and glad your feeling well. I think my PS told me 6 weeks but I tried running and was not ready!
It wasn't too long after though, maybe 8 weeks so just see how you go.
Still lots of changes to come, and they should drop and get even softer in the coming weeks.
have you been measured yet?
that's the best bit

Re: 5 weeks post op already! :)
Thanks everyone
Going to start back at the gym this week but with light cardio like you guys said.. that seems to be the best way to go. They are still slightly smaller than what I wanted but in some things (especially fitted tops) they look like D cups! and when naked they look like a large B. Also something I never really thought about was that the actual position of my boobs pre-op were very spaced apart to the sides, so now post-op there is still a large gap there which will never change. But that is just my body and even implants won't change that! :)
I have to massage mine twice a day, and have been since 2 weeks post-op! I haven't been doing it religiously though and its more of a movement of breast than massage to be honest! You are looking amazing [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I'm jealous of those bad boys haha!
Not yet [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] as I'm not in bras yet but will be in the next couple of weeks, can't wait!! xxx

Ahhh thanks!!! But loving yours too - they look amazing and natural in your avi!! Yes naked I'd say mine look like a c or d - the bras make a big difference!
Good luck back at the gym - I enjoyed the long break but I'm also loving being back! Xx
