Hi Girls

I had my surgery just under six years ago and the other night, I noticed a dent in my left boob near the cleavage. It's just under 1" long and just under 1/4" wide. I wondered if anybody knew what this could be. Is it where the skin has now stretched or is it a problem?

My weight's pretty stable, so it's not that. All I wondered if it was something I'd need to contact the clinic about.

Thanks x

Hello lovely,

It might be worth checking with the gp as well as surgeon as you have to watch out for any changes to your breasts. I'm sure it's probably nothing but for peace of mind it would be worth ruling out any problems. Extreme case I know but my friend went to the doctors for a dent in her (natural boobs) and it was breast cancer - people assume it's just lumps but can be other things. I don't mean to scare you at all as I'm sure it's nothing like that - might just be skin stretching but certainly worth double checking!!

Your boobs look fab btw - I'm close to Kent too! Right on the Kent / Sussex boarder! Xx

Hi, sorry I have no knowledgable help but do agree for peace of mind if nothing else to check in with your GP, they at least can let you know if it's something to contact your PS about. Hope it's nothing alarming, all the best xx

I echo Lucy. Any changes in your breast you should get checked out. It might be implant related, it might not, but its worth having it looked at by both your GP and your clinic.

Let us know how you get on.

Thank you girls. I hadn't actually thought of that and automatically assumed it was to do with my implants. I had my first mammogram last year and that was all clear, but I'll make the appointment xx
