WHAT HAVE I DONE!!
I am really beginning to regret having my BA done!!! The pain is far worse than I ever imagined I feel like crying constantly! The burning, shooting pains when I move are really getting me down. I know I'm only at Day 6 and everyone is different in terms of recovery but it's so disheartening to hear how well everyone has done....although I am so happy for them.
My boobs do look amazing even at the early stage so that is the only thing helping me through this at the moment!
I think I'm just feeling worse as my other half goes back to work tomorrow and he has litterally been my arms and legs haha.
When I went and seen the nurse the other day due to the pain she said everything was fine which was a relief, and I phoned my doctor who gave me something stronger only to be taken at night time and is meant to knock me out which to be honest is not exactly working either!!
I go back again on Wednesday to see the nurse who will hopefully will tell me everything I'm feeling is "normal" just wish I had a fast forward button haha.
Sorry for the depressing status this early in the morning ladies but I know u will all understand xx

Re: WHAT HAVE I DONE!!
Hun, recovery is awful. I know I definetley under-estimated it, and I remember coming on her confused asking what the awful pain was I was having. Turned out it was 'morning boob' although it lasted almost allday.
It sounds like your the same.
All I can say is try and muster through it, as it really does get better.
And if they look fab now....it only gets better and better with time so have that positive thought in your head.
And come 7 months when your walking down that isle with your gorgeous boobies, feelin happy and confident, these first few days/weeks will all be but a distant memory.
Take care, keep up with the meds if you need them.
Good Luck x

Re: WHAT HAVE I DONE!!
I totally agree with Twinky. You've had a large implant so your body has got to adjust and it's going to take time. Don't bet yourself up and if you need a cry then let those tears flow. Not everyone sails through recovery but you will feel better soon. Take things slow and at your own pace, listen to your body and stay on top of your meds, they Re there for a reason xx

Re: WHAT HAVE I DONE!!
You're at the exact point I would expect you to be in your recovery. The local has worn off, the GA is making its way out of your system, you're tired and taking a lot of pain meds. All of this will play hell on your emotions and hormones, and the wtf moment is a perfectly normal reaction to have. I also think a lot of people still think of it as a trivial op, because it's cosmetic surgery I should be up and about and back to my normal life. But if your had your appendix out, you wouldn't think that. Its a major operation, and you need to give yourself time to heal. You're doing great. Try and get as much rest and sleep as you can, and in a few more days the pain will start to subside. We're all here to support you.

Sorry to hear that your having a bad time. I think we all underestimate this operation. I was so sure I was going to be good to go back to work in a week but no way could I of. I still was not right for a few weeks. Like the others have said you have had a major operation. You need time and meds but you will get through this and come a few weeks you will have forgotten all the pain. Chin up big hugssssss xxxx

Re: WHAT HAVE I DONE!!
Awwww Sarbs - I felt like I was the only one finding it tough too - everyone seemed to sail though it except me!! I'm not sure whether this will make u feel better or worse but I have only just started feeling ok!!! And I'm 1 month post. I still have pain but it's easing off. It has NOT been easy and to top it off - my boobs looked rubbish - I hated them!!
I love them now tho!!
U will get through it I promise!! Lots of hugs xxx

Re: WHAT HAVE I DONE!!
Sorry your feeling down Sarbs, I remember my nurse saying to me by day 3 or 4 you will start to feel really emotional and even though my recovery isn't as bad as yours I did feel that way and I did have a cry. Xx it does get better and you will look back and think it was all worth it. Xx

Re: WHAT HAVE I DONE!!
Hi Girls thank you all so much for all of your messages u really have helped me a lot to see that this is "normal"
U are all amazing...this group has been a godsend over the last few days
I think I just felt worse at the thought of tomorrow being my 1st day on my own and I temporarily ran out of pain killers so I think I just let everything get on top of me.
I know once all this is over I will be glad I done it and look forward to showing them off haha xx

Re: WHAT HAVE I DONE!!
Hi girls been for my check up today and everything is perfect!! Dressings have been removed and I can now finally shower
Obviously everything is still rock hard and have only slight pain now but at least I know everything is happening the way it should. Don't need to go back to see my surgeon till 5 weeks now xx
