Post by Carrierowland 12th January 2016, 2:19 pm

I went on my 1st run since having my boobs done, I made sure I wore a very good sports bra and I put a sports top on so double support. I was a little worried at 1st but I kept feeling them to make sure they was not bouncing. So I'm proud I can run again as I've put on nearly a stone sad smile xx

I was too respecting a few little twinges but I got nothing. I got the ultimate from m and s, as long as they are supported then they will be fine. Xxx

I'm jealous!  I'd love to be able to go for a run but it still hurts by the end of the day even to walk so I think it will be a good few weeks yet.  I don't think I'll be one of those back into it after 6 weeks thats for sure! x

Well done you, I can't wait to start exercising but I'm not going to push myself. I went to get weighed yesterday first time since before Xmas and was quite surprised that I had only put 5lbs on and apparently 2lbs of those could be my boobs (not sure about that one) x

I wondered how much they weigh. I did see a chart once on here about the weight of them, I think it was only 1.5lb ( I might be wrong)

I've been again today only a slow pace, they seemed a little more tender today. So gonna give myself the day off tomorrow lol xxx

MrsK that's nothing and probably is your boobs.

I've put on about a stone since having my Ba done so strict diet and exercise for me. Need my bikini body for the summer ha ha xx

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], your would weigh in at 700g, so about 1.5lb. Do take it slowly, and any sort of pain, give yourself a week off. I love the Panache Underwired for running, you're not going anywhere in one of those.

I actually quite miss getting out in the woods and going for a run, cant do it any more because of my shin splints. Just not worth it. I got a new rowing machine, so thats my new cardio.

I love the rowing machine at the gym Charlii but I wasn't sure if that's a bad move for freshly done boobies like mine! Do you find it flexes your pecs much? I might give it a try when I'm back in the fitness saddle! X

I got fitted at bravissimo for the panache but you can buy them cheaper on very and other places.

Definitely I wouldn't try rowing until you have the all clear, maybe even 6m to be on the safe side! I'm having a week off coz I'm poorly sick, but it definitely pulls on places you won't realise you have until post op!!

Sarbs, it'll be water weight from the GA. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Drink plenty of water to flush out the drugs, eat well, get walking about as soon as you can, just up and down the hall, and it'll soon go

I think a sports bra should be supportive and comfortable. I've found I get additional support from having the wires, but that's entirely my personal choice. I rate it higher than the Triaction extreme. But then I've never worn the panache non wired, so can't give it a direct comparison. Its all going to be a pricey trial and error until you find what best suits you.

Post by BkozK 14th January 2016, 6:51 pm

Well done on the running, I love running but I can't get out running again till little one goes pre school, tried having her in pushchair but she what'd to get out and run. Was like two steps forward 3 back. I've started doing Gillian Michaels 30 day shred as can fit that in while A plays. I'm wearing a shock absorber, very minimal if any movement at all even doing jumping jacks. I didn't put weight on after BA, usually don't put it on that quickly unless pregnant but I weighed after Christmas and I think I'm now beyond the age of no worries and must learn to say no to the second slice of cake lol.

1st run since BA Empty Re: 1st run since BA

Post by blush89 15th January 2016, 10:54 am

I too went on my first run since BA on Wednesday, but this is 9 months PO haha! I could have started running from 3 months PO if I wanted to but I dunno, think I was just a bit scared and paranoid. I used to run half marathons and all sorts so I did really start to miss it, but instead I started working out with weights and doing HIT classes and notices much better (and quicker) results vs running.

However, my run on Weds made me realise how much I had missed it! I felt so free haha! I had my boobs strapped up in a sports bra but still felt a bit on edge about them bouncing around. I dont why I get so paranoid haah! xxx

They hurt more on the 3rd run so I have missed a couple of days.

I brought the m and s high impact sports bra, I didn't get a wired one. Would you girls recommended a wired one instead. Probably give a bit more support. Xx
