How sore will I be after 5 weeks post surgery?
Hello ladies!
Hope your all doing ok :) My partner wants to book a city trip to Marrakesh for 4 nights next year, and the only time we can both go is after 5weeks and 4days after my surgery date. Will I still be sore or should I be ok to fly etc? I know this sounds silly but I'm not sure haha!
Thanks xxx

Painwise you probably should be ok by that point, but you need to check with your surgeon about flying, as it could invalidate your aftercare. Also, you're not going to be bikini ready. One, they might still be frankenboobs. Two, there's no way you'll be allowed them out in the sun. The skin will be stretched and sensitive, so you'll need them covered up all the time. And if course, depending on your aftercare, you may still be in full support 24/7. So really do have a think, so you want to go now, or maybe save it for 6months time?

Like charlii says I think you need to check with your surgeon, mine said 6 weeks to fly short haul and 12 weeks to fly long haul. I no we all want to go on holiday buy new bikinis but I was defiantly not ready by 6 weeks to get in a bikini as they was such a odd shape. People would of stared!!! Lol xxx

I went to Spain for 4 days at 5 weeks. As Charlii said, no way bikini ready, I was in shorts and t's while hubs went swimming etc. I wasn't in pain by then and flying was fine but it was on a 2 hr flight. I did have ok from PS to fly and go in pool but I didn't want to rusk an infection xx

It wouldn't be a bikini holiday anyway it would be a 4 night city break, but we have decided it isn't worth the risk and will just have to do it at the end of next year instead. Thanks for your advice guys!
