10 days post op & worried about shape Empty 10 days post op & worried about shape

Post by dangleberry 13th December 2015, 5:48 pm

I've recovered really well, happy with the size, but am worried about the shape of one boob.  Its as though the incision in the crease is pulled too tight as the rest of the crease line alongside the incision sits a bit lower - its quite easy to see that the whole of lower pole in that boob is therefore a bit uneven & mishapen.

If/when they d&f I just cant see how this problem will go away as I presume the implants will just sit lower when d&f has happened, but that means this crease issue will just sit lower.

Any advice/reassurance?  I know its early days but this is something I spotted about 2/3 days post op and if anything its only getting more noticeable.

You really cant judge them right now. 10 days is nothing. You'll still be swollen, and still have the frankenboob. The scar will be tight and misshaping the boob, because the implant is going to be sat so high and tight. Your skin needs time to adjust and stretch to accommodate it. The best advice i can give right now is to ignore them as much as possible. Stop analysing them, because they will be weird and odd for a while yet. Take pictures weekly, then in 3months, look through them and see all the changes that have happened.

Plus if you do need revision they wouldn't operate until around 6m anyway. Try not to be too worried at this stage. If at 3 m you are still worried then speak to your ps x
