Echinacea Empty Echinacea

RDoes anyone know if I can take this 14 days pre op? I feel a lurgie coming on! Surgeon hasn't specified anything I can't take including alcohol but I'd rather play it safe if anyone has been told different?

Nope, no supplements, herbal or not. It can mess with your blood which can confuse the anaesthetic. Best to steer clear. Of you feel you're coming down with something, just plenty of rest and fluids.

no - I second that, don't take anything, my surgeon said to take nothing - hopefully you won't come down too bad...rest and have some hot water honey and lemon. Take it easy xx

Oh god girls I've been taking metatone Tonic up to a week before the op!!! I'll stop now you have said this i didn't even realise it was an issue do you think I'll be ok!?

Well thats a new one! Never heard of that before! Gave it a quick google, as long as you stop now, you should be fine. Anything you do take in the coming week you'll need to disclose to the aneasthetist, so maybe mention it to be on the safe side, but im sure it wont be an issue.
