Yup! You've had two operations, on two separate boobs, and it's normal for one to suffer a little more trauma than the other. Sisters, not twins! Now get some rest, sleeping is healing!

Don't panic Hun, perfectly normal, mine was the same. As the saying goes here, they're sisters not twins, two separate operations, they'll even out eventually Smike x

I rang the emergency line because I was cr*pping myself she said because it's not causing me extreme pain and I can touch it it's ok just to keep icing but if I'm still worried tomorrow I can go back in she just doesn't want to do any unnecessary travelling!
It's nearly double the size though lol making me feel like I have one pre op boob and one post op!
It was also the smaller boob too so thinking maybe it took more of a beating!
Thanks for helping make me feel better guys Heart

Yeh I reckon its all just with it being 2 separate ops lovey.
Try and relax, and see how you feel in the morn, keep your ice pack on it.

It will be fine.

Thank you girls really helped to put me at ease you're all fab!
I'm all propped up in bed now all my meds took hoping to fall into a sweet slumber but don't seem to have even been tired at all since my op!
Pulled my straps down on my top coz I thought they were looking a little small and it's amazing how deceiving a sports bra is!!

Morning! Sleep was a struggle because I just want tired at all! Woke every few hours and then I've been up since half 5 but just managed to have a little snooze now!
The swelling isn't any worse which is a relief but going to keep icing today anyway! Not in any pain id say just feeling bruised around the side still!
Are they meant to be so warm all the time and a little bit solid? I was going to ring nurse just incase lol even though I've read everything on here when you go through it every little thing seems to panic me haha!  xXx

Morning petal - practical boob advise is not within my current skill set and you know, but I'm all in for the general moral support babe! Sounds like you had a rough night, so thought I'd just remind you that you have  boobsign XX

The swelling is insulating them, and they're full of blood at the moment, so warm and solid is good! So long as one doesn't keep getting bigger, you'll be fine. Stay on top of your meds, paracetamol and ibruprofen every other 2hrs, and sleep when you can. Try not to worry too much

Ah that's good news then! Starting to bruise now around the armpit area which is where I can only really feel the aching!
Are you allowed to with the co drydamol or is it because each person is prescribed different meds?? Xx

Codrydamol contains paracetamol, so if you're taking that every 4, you can still take ibruprofen the every other 4, so you're taking something every 2. If you can, only take the codrydamol for 3days, then switch to regular paracetamol.

I did that this morning [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] it's so annoying
Yep it's caught up with me lol my mum is making me take fibergel later but I'm not bloated so that's a bonus!
Even on the tablets I can still feel the bruising/ache so I'm wondering if they are actually working? I'll let taking the first or next 2 days though I keep forgetting this is only day 1! xXx

If it's just bruising/aching, it means they're working! You've just had major surgery, and there's a local anaesthetic in there too! You'd know if you weren't taking them! Don't expect too much from yourself too soon, take time to heal

Great avi @JadeB91. Glad your feeling well enough to get off stronge meds but do keep up with the paracetamol for a few more days at least, that's if you need to. Xx
