Boux Avenue Experiance
Really disappointed :-(
I travelled an hour and a half to my nearest one (Leeds). The lady that fitted me took one look at me (she was pleasant enough but seemed a little disinterested) and my current bra and said no way was I a 32DD (which obviously I was a little chuffed about) However most of the bras I've fitted myself are a 32DD and I think they fit quite well. So off she trotted and returned with several 32G bras!! As expected, all were too big, so off she trotted again and returned with 32F's ... Again, all to big.... So anyway this continues until finally she fitted me in a bra or 2 that actually fit... Yep 32DD's lol, she finally admitted that I'm actually not as big as I look lol.
So anyway, we found a couple of bras that fitted as I only seem to be able to wear plunge bras due to my ample cleavage, but sadly they were just not me. I found they really didn't have that much choice at all. I walked out having bought absolutely nothing and my other half stood outside for about 40minutes waiting for me.
Gutted really, think I will stick with Debenahams and John Lewis from now on.

Boux are good for a 'base' fitting, but their choice isnt too great. I only really by my 'non sexy' undies from there now! least the fitting was positive, even if you didnt come away with anything.

Re: Boux Avenue Experiance
Ahh man that's annoying not having any shopping at the end of it! And ur poor partner, he did good for 40 mins lol!
I too am going to have to travel to a Boux avenue, was pondering either meadowhall one or Leeds. Sure Leeds used to have a Bravissimo too, did you not venture there u take it?
At the end of the day, 32DD is a fantastic size, easily accessible too, (asos only had 2 34E bra's on yesterday wth? ) so least you know your defo that size and can buy now...from debs and John lewis though
And with that clearvage, I would be ecstatic! Mine don't really give much clearvage...at tho mo.
Hoping once they fluff that will all change eek!

Re: Boux Avenue Experiance
Ladies, so sorry it was actually Bravissimo that I went to, not Boux Avenue.... I got mixed up!! I was going to go to Boux avenue but it was in the white rose centre not in Leeds city centre.
Yes it was more the lack of choice I was disappointed with, the shop was quite small to be honest, maybe others are bigger though.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] You do make me laugh, but yes me cleavage does look pretty good but I'm restricted with what wired bras I can wear because of it though.... Never happy eh, haha! Your looking fab in your new AVI though xxx

Re: Boux Avenue Experiance
Lol! I thought the same for bravissimo, they all seem a little huge! Weird how far off she was with your size though, they're normally spot on. Ah well, there are plenty of other places to buy bras from, especially once you know how one should fit correctly.

Re: Boux Avenue Experiance
I didnt have a great experience with Bravissimo first time round either hun, but then the next few times I've been they've been great!
I do find out of everywhere I've been fitted, they seem to fit you into the biggest bra at Bravissimo. My last bra from there was a 30FF!! But in most places I'm a straight up 30E/32DD so looks like we have pretty similar sizes.
It's rubbish but don't let it get you down, it's brilliant you know how to do all your own checks now so keep learning how to do it yourself, and get fitted in places you feel comfortable like JL and Debenhams :) xx

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] To be fair to the lady at first sight they do look pretty big, especially in the bra I had on (the one in my AVI) but there's no way I was ever gonna be a G cup, I could have understood her thinking maybe an F as john Lewis did fit me in a 30F which fitted but I was just to uncomfortable in the band. I doubt I will go back again, mainly as they are so far away. I'd like to try Boux avenue at some point but I don't think I will make a trip especially as that's over an hour away from me too.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Yes I think we're pretty much the same size and shape Hun, I def think I'm around the DD cup depending on brand. Love the bra you have on in your AVI by the way, where did you get it from if you don't mind me asking?

Re: Boux Avenue Experiance
Its from debenhams hun, a wonderbra! I LOVE it!
It's got a teeny weeny bit of padding in too so it's more of a push up. Makes your boobs look amazing.

Not been on here for a while,I had a fitting at Boux Avenue in Plymouth (was there visiting family) I had a lovely experience got re measured at almost 5 months I'm a 34DD very pleased with this, the girl who measured was great even gave me a card with my size on and the bra and bikini makes I had brought,so now I can shop online.
I have updated my avi but for some reason it's on sidewards

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Haha, tbh I have that problem too with DD bra's in general, especially this one and anything I get from Ann Summers. The Nips just want to be free! You do have to keep pulling it up slightly, but you won't care once you look in the mirror and seem OOMPH!! It's a very sexy bra!
I just bought it in black too as I love it so much, if you cant get it in Debenhams you can get it on fig leaves.com or Next.com xxx

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Great to here from ya Hun, there's some great AVI's now isn't there, you need to update yours too, I wanna see how they are getting on haha xxx
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I bought one of those bras in your AVI - just a bit too much umph for me lol, I looked like Pamela Anderson and I found it u comfy after a while, I think the extra padding at the bottom of the cups lifted my boobs too much and made them ache after a while - maybe in a few more months it would be better for me, The straps seemed to have a gap between my shoulders and my boobs too which looked a bit odd, gutted as its so pretty xxx
