Half under/half over?
Hi girls,
I've got my BA booked for the 20th August and I'm having 325cc Mentor textured implants and my PS is using the 'spilt muscle' technique. I'd love to hear from someone who has been through a BA using this technique and hear about their experiences! Needless to say, I am absolutely cacking it so any advice/tips would be much appreciated!

Re: Half under/half over?
Is it dual plane or unders? When we talk about unders, it's normally half and half. It's very rata to go fully under the muscle, this is normally used for trans or mastectomy patients. If it is dual plane, I'm not familiar with the procedure, but I know a couple of girls have had it. Try popping it in the search bar to bring up some previous posts.

I think I know what you mean. I had 'sub facial' implants which is where most 'furry brazillian' implants are placed. I think it is just half & half to be honest! xx

I think I'm just generally so nervous about it all to be honest! Just want the day to be here now! Xx

Re: Half under/half over?
I think by half over half under they mean "unders". The muscle doesn't cover the bottom half of the implant, as charli explains. Subfascial is slightly different and generally still referred to as "overs" as the muscle itself isn't lifted, only the subfascia layer. Check with your surgeon if you have any doubts though!

Re: Half under/half over?
People say unders is a little more painful, but I think it's just because there's muscle to stretch as well as skin. It's not so much pain as aches, much like a pulled muscle. It's nothing you can't handle
