Bra Size
Hey ladies
Sorry I haven't been on here for a while, hope all you ladies are doing well.
I'm 4 weeks post op and I'm slightly upset with the size of my breast, I assumed thry would be slightly larger than they are.
I'm currently wearing a 34d sports bra, however I inputted my chest size and band width in some of the online bra calculations and it is showing up as 34b absolutely devastated as I thought I would at least be a D.
Are the online calculations wrong?

Re: Bra Size
Absolutly wrog I would say, I remember reading a really old thread, and the person was in tears over these silly online calculators.
375 is a big implant, I have the same.
and I have gone from a 32a to a DD
Not saying you will be exactly rhe same as everyone is diff, but I am sure you will be close.
if you a size 6-8 your band size is prob a lot smaller than a 32 for a start, your prob more like a 28 or 30.
Measure around your band where your bra sits...whatever that reading is is what you are.
For egI measure 32 bang on so that is my band size.
I measure a 38 around my breasts so that makes me a 32D. Theres a true measurer on here somewhere. Try searching in the top corner for a more accurate result..
Don't be disheartened. Try an old bra on, I bet it nowhere nr fits you, and you still have loads of changes too. Im six weeks and they are so diff today just since last week..loads softer.

Re: Bra Size
I tried a few of these when I was 5 weeks post-op, they seriously mess with your head!!!
I ranged between 36A and 30H, I've got 615cc implants so you can imagine my reaction to the A cup

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] i agree with [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]! I had very similar stats to you pre op - was a 32B but dress size etc very similar. I had 325's and have measured a 30E/F in wired bras. You still have loads of changes yet as well. I'm only 12weeks post op & my boobs have changed so much since the 4 week point & if anything have gotten bigger. Don't worry too much & be patient til you can get measured properly. I know it's sometimes easier said than done, but with that size implant i can't see how you'll be a B cup xx

Re: Bra Size
I did exactly the same and ended in tears. They're so wrong it's incredible. I was coming out 36a! I actually posted a thread on how bad they are.

Wait until you can get properly fitted. Or if your impatient, measure at home. Straight across your band, and don't add anything for your band size (eg I measure 31" so wear 32). Then the fullest part of the breast. Take the two away for cup so 1A 2B 3C 4D 5DD etc. That'll give you a better rough idea than these horrible calculators!

Re: Bra Size
Thank you ladies for the reassurance! I literally had tears in my eyes I tried the Victoria secret one so I thought it was accurate, I'll wait until I get measured.
I am 32 band and it measures 34 so does that make me a C?
Thank you ladies so much again!! Xx

Re: Bra Size
See, it's all about perception!! I still don't think mine are big, but hubs is like, they're huuuge!!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], are you sure you're a 32? I'm a size 10 and a 32, if you're a 6/8, it's likely you're smaller. What does you're actual ribcage measure? Don't forget, if they're only 4wk old, they may be very tight still, so may get 'bigger'. If it helps, I had 340 and went A to DD/E, so a 375 on a smaller frame may take you bigger!

Re: Bra Size
Glad you remeasured your size Misstgwatt you have a great size, I think I would have had a total a melt down. So thank you for this post. It got me thinking, what is my pre BA actual size (got measured in my mid twenties for my wedding bra 32c) and using charlii's guide, turns out I've still been wearing the wrong size, 28dd, that can be right, band 27 bust 32. Charlii is that right?. It's all saggy skin though.

Re: Bra Size
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] yep, that would put you at 28DD. Interestingly, you're wearing the 'correct' sister size. When you go up a band, you come down a cup, and vice versa. 28DD=30D=32C. So you're fitted 'correctly' according to the old method of +4/5. Which is wrong!! Maybe try and get yourself to a boux avenue and get fitted pre op. You don't have to buy anything, just for your own info.
