Softer bra?
hi ladies so I've been told by my surgeon I need a softer bra to help my wound to heal as my macom is tight round the band underneath and presses on it. He said a crop top? But I'm wearing my one and only crop top (in my a I) but my boobs feel rock hard and it definitely doesn't feel supportive enough.
Can anyone suggest a bra that is softer around the band but still supportive? I'm only 4 weeks PO so don't want to risk them drooping again

Re: Softer bra?
How about a genie bra or belvia? There light, unwired but a tiny bit supportive as it's like elasticated soft material?
Google them, both are lovely and soft.
Although new look have some crop top style tops that I ikea. No support tho, but there longer than a bra so won't rub on your wound.
Hope you get sorted soon lovey.
Looking a great size in your avi

The belvia bras look super comfy too!! But you have to chose s m or l for them and I'm just not sure what to get! It's exciting to look at bras that aren't super padded lol xx

For me the best thing about looking for bras is I won't have to pick up my boob to get it into the bra lol I've never had perky boobs so it feels amazing

Re: Softer bra?
Holy cow, look at them!! Amazing!!
Try the Belvia, or any soft cup really. The crops are great, but there's normally sizing issues. Take Nike for example. Their crops are only designed to go up to a C/D, so while I should get a S for 32, it's no where near big enough in the cup. So I go up to M, but lose some of the band support. At your size, I'd try and get an actual cupped soft bra if you can.

Re: Softer bra?
Thanks [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I've ordered my Freya after doing my own sizing and I'm hoping it'll fit as I def need proper support. I've got a belvia bra on with a crop top right now to get the extra support

Re: Softer bra?
I didnt get on with the Freya softcup, but I was still only 2 months PO when I got measured into it so it might fit better now. I was really surprised as I know alot of girls on here love it, but it just didnt seem to fit me right. If it's not too late, I would go and try it on in Bravissimo or Debenhams first in case you are unlucky like me!!
I agree with Jen, I LOVE the soft yoga crop top style bra's. I wear mine to bed or when I get home from work. However if you need more support, I would look a proper softcup bra. xxx

Re: Softer bra?
I'd reccomend the Royce Silver post op bra Hun, it's similar in design to the Macom in that it's front fastening but with poppers and it comes lower down than a normal bra so it won't rub on your incisions, also you won't have to be so precise with sizing. The material is lovely and soft too. I didn't get on with the Macom at all and even now the Royce is my go to comfort bra when I'm sore, I even wear it for bed still. They are more pricey but well worth it. They can also be machine washed unlike the Macom xxx
