Better Boobs are Breathtakingly Beautiful!
Hello ladies - long time no see
To those who were around when I left, it's great to see you all still here. Thank you all for your time and support on the forum. I hope you're all recovering well I look forward to spending more time with you all here. I've missed you all.
To all you newbies, or those who became members just before I went AWOL lol, WELCOME. I very much look forward to getting to know you all better and hope you're finding your time here as wonderful as I do every single time I log in!
I'm sorry I've been away so long. I do have health problems that are pretty complicated and twice in the four months I've been away have I again almost met my maker. But being the tough lil cookie I am, as much as I love the big guy upstairs, I'm not yet ready to go just yet! But I am thankful to here and it's good to be blue to see these pink pages once again My health is still bad, but that's for me to deal with and from time to time I may have to disappear for a while. But my love for you all and this forum always brings me back.
About my boobs....
Well, I think I'm around 4 months post-op now and I could not be happier. I've struggled with the size of my boobs for quite some time now (9 years to be exact) and did reduce once already 6 years go, but although the surgeon was kind to me, they gave me little input and because of that my boobs emailed too large 'for me'.
I dealt with 4 surgeons whilst I was being treated at Transform, 1 of which I wouldnt let butter a slice of bread with his scalpel, let alone come near my skin with it! So, due to complications and surgeons constantly leaving I was allocated different surgeons to deal with the complications I had after the initial surgery. None of the really listened to what I wanted and I'm no expert! So because of that although what I got was OK - it was never great and I was never satisfied with the outcome. I'd been following a surgeon called Douglas McGeorge, he's one of the leading plastic surgeons here in the UK and I cyber stalked him for a long time lol.
With more surgery still required because of more complications, my husband, knowing my sadness took over and said "sod the aftercare...let's see that surgeon you love" and so I did....
Mr McGeorge really took the reigns when I went for my first consultation. I pretty much know my stuff now when it comes to Breast Augmentation and Uplifts, doG knows I've done my homework over the years since I had my first surgery as ignorant as ignorant to these procedures could be.
I told Mr McG what 'I' wanted. I was even considering complete removal of my implants if it were possible to do so and still give me some boobage, but unfortunately that wasn't to be. I just don't have enough breast tissue and pancakes weren't an option, so we discussed implants. I wanted as small as could be, teeny tiny boobs, as long as I had boobs, I'd be happy. But MR McG said No. He told me if I did that my body just wouldn't look in proportion and so to give me the smallest he could but still keep my body in proportion a 310 implant was what he wanted and there was no debating that. If I wanted something other than that then he would prefer I see another surgeon. I liked that. A surgeon who finally took control with confidence and errrrrrmmmm, took me on lol. My hubby has said in the past that my knowledge has often taken my other surgeons by surprise and they were more than happy to let me take the lead. As lovely as they were, there's a true saying - "YOU LIVE AND LEARN" and that's exactly what I've done and will do if I ever do decide to have cosmetic surgery in the future. I'm happy as I am though now.
My boobs have healed really well. I had a pretty much natural shape to my boobs with a round implant with a nice slope to the front, they were very full though which at the time I couldn't see, they just looked natural 'to me' and I wasn't expecting much of a change when I swooped for the anatomicals. But there is a big difference and its that upper pole fullness. Even with a beautifully natural slope I see now that they were very full and reminded the same with or without a bra. They were sat up there. With the anatomicals I no longer have all that upper pole fullness. They're very pert and youthful looking but 'from my personal experience' I've found them to be so much more natural looking. However.... With the right bra (Balconettes) I can still achieve that very full upper pole fullness, 'cept when the bra comes off - boobs return to their natural state now.
I'm trying ever so hard to keep them in bras because I do have a sagging phobia, but I just LOVE them now when I'm topless in a vest. No longer are they 'up there' but they're sat in a lower position and look f@@kin fabulous if I do say so myself haha. I've a holiday coming up in July and I literally cannot wait to get my bikini tops on and my cute lil cozzies! I've always had a wide cleavage, but with with implants this did improve, but with the rounds and my boobs being 'up there' without a bra on they never gained a bum cleavage (not without a bra. With bras I could always get a fab cleavage - still can) they just kinda looked like I had an invisible t- shirt bra on. Hard to explain, but they were full and pert. I never needed a bra to achieve that. Now the majority of the upper pole has gone I have a more natural look and it's a look I personally like. We're all different aren't we, some like whopping big bouncy boobs, some like what I had, full boobs with a natural slope that always looked like that and others like what I have now, a very natural look. What a boring world it would be if we all looked and wanted the same hey - I've experienced all 3 looks through the years lol and finally a surgeon 'heard' me and took control to give me what I wanted and I'm so, so in love with them. I just have to stop being naughty flouncing around bra less in vests haha.
I did have some trouble with keloid scarring. This isn't a surgeons error, it's sadly just one of those complications we're all warned about and it happened to me. Lucky for me though my surgeon has actually created a scar treatment! He asked if I'd try it on my scars and see how I got on and so I did.... It's worked a treat but I'll create a different thread to tell you all about that, I just wanted to update you all with what's been going on and to fill those that don't know me or my journey in a little so they know what I'm talking about.
Sorry for the long post girls. I won't be around a lot, but although I may not be posting as much.....I'm still going to be here for you all.

Hi Cookie!! It is wonderful to see you back!! You probably don't remember me coz I was a newbie just before you left, but your posts and stickies were hugely helpful to me at the start of my journey - I absorbed them like a sponge! So very sorry to read about your health problems but you sound like such a strong person, inspirational to read your post. And fabulous to read your positive result (finally) with your last BA, makes me very excited for my first ever BA in 2 weeks time :-).

Re: Better Boobs are Breathtakingly Beautiful!
So nice to see a post from you Cookie! I'm back on here after only 2 years after my BA with Mr Meleagros and like you mentioned in your post you live and learn and I feel I have done the same - when seeing Mr Meleagros he mentioned I may need an uplift - long story short we didn't and I wish I walked away and looked into one but live and learn like you say... So next Wednesday I have an appointment with McGod himself!! I am sooooo excited and it's nice to see an update from you and seeing how over the moon you are after finally having him work his magic on you.
I have no doubt in my mind he will say uplift and I also want a slightly bigger implant, I know it seems immature possibly some may say after only 2 years since my BA but if things aren't right then they aren't perfect and I want perfect to be happy for my sake - no one else.
Please keep taking care of yourself. You truly are an INCREDIBLE woman!
Lots of love xx

Re: Better Boobs are Breathtakingly Beautiful!
Thank you all so very much for your lovely messages.
@Vickxo bless your brother, I can totally empathise about giving up. It's been a place I've visited quite a few times, but your brother is right, we do have to take whatever get thrown our way and in that...I believe we don't 'need' strength to get through those difficult times, but we do 'gain' strength. And like your brother we are stronger for what we've been through - it's just maintaining that strength that's the tough part. Xx
@Lou1981 I now have partials hun xx
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], I will give a detailed 'personal' account of the scar treatment (Along with pics) just as soon as I have time but if you'd like to read about it for yourself in the meantime you can do so HERE lovely. Xx

Thanks for this Cookie! I don't know if I'm being thick but I can't find a ingredients list anywhere on the site? Looks very similar to the oil I have been given! xx

Re: Better Boobs are Breathtakingly Beautiful!
The ingredients I have here are:
Aqua, Dipropylene Glycol Dipelargonate, Caprylic/Capric, Triglyceride, Glycerin, Cydopentasilaxane, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Glyceryl Stearate, Peg-75 Stearate, Ceteth-20, Steareth-20, Poloxamer 235, Poloxamer 338, Ethoxydiglythol, Xanthan Gum, Camellia Sinensis Extract, Butylene Glycol, Tocophersolan, Tocopherol, Maltodextrin, Triethanolamine, Acrylates/C10-30, Alkyl Acryate Crosspolymer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hellianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Lecithin, Hydrolyzed Algin, Maris Aqua, Chlorella Vulgaris Extract, Magnolia Officinalla (<- couldn't quite read that one) Bark Extract, Vitis Vinifera Seed Extract.
When Mr McGeorge spoke about this with me he did put a lot of emphasis on Green tea and the healing properties they have found this to have. I'm no pharmacist though so couldn't tell you if any of the ingredients above do relate to green tea.
Hope that helps babe. Which treatment are you currently using? It's highly likely I've tried it too lol. Xx

Re: Better Boobs are Breathtakingly Beautiful!
Wow, thanks for taking the time to write all that out bless you! Haha I best get on the green tea then!
I am seeing good results from the oil my surgeon recommended. It's in no way a specialist scar treatment, but more of a rich vitamin oil which apparently will get the skin in the best, healthiest condition to speed up healing.
It's this one here, this site gives a bit more info than the actual brand site. I was a bit skeptical at first but it seems to be working pretty well! I would be interested to try this SOS oil too, especially as it's only £18
